Title: Works Great Out of the Box!
Review: 1) It is big enough to do the job I bought it for--making home made potato chips from fairly large potatoes. 2) It seems quite sturdy and well designed. 3) It is easy to assemble. 4) It works just as I had hoped, although I only tested the slicing mode for potato chips. 5) It quickly disassembles for cleaning. 6) The blade looks to be easily removable by two screws when it is time to sharpen it. 7) Folds up pretty well and fits back in the original box nicely. My only negative would be that they do not specify the resharpening angle of the cutter blade, so I will have to guess when it is time to resharpen. There is no blade to make serrated chips, something of a limitation.

Review: I found it hard to put together and take apart to clean. It's big and has too many pieces. After using it, cleaning it, and putting it away, I would not get it back out unless I was doing a lot of slicing. Too much trouble to use for a small job. It did slice well and was safe.

Review: Endlich ein Gerät bei dem ich keine Angst mehr habe, wenn ich Scheiben schneiden will,die Verletzungsgefahr ist hier nicht so groß,ich habe mir leider letztes Jahr böse in den Finger geschnitten und deswegen wollte ich keine Scheiben mehr schneiden, mein Mann hat mir das Gerät empfohlen und ich habe es einfach mal ausprobiert., Und ich finde es richtig gut ,und es macht richtig Freude damit zu arbeiten.Kann ich sehr empfehlen,,nun geht es der Karotte und der Zwiebel an den Kragen ohne dass mein Blut fließt 😌😌
