Margarita--the drink that's a party in a glass! Whip up an icy batch of America's favorite cocktail, spike the salsa with some tequila, too, and you're well on your way to a really good time, down-by-the-border-style. Now all you need is the perfect margarita, and happily, you've come to the right place. W. Park Kerr from the El Paso Chile Company brings you a hot 'n' cool collection of Margaritas and other tequila-boosted recipes for every taste and every lively occasion. Let the fiesta begin!

As fearless and creative at the bar as he is in the kitchen, W. Park Kerr knows there's more than one way to shake a margarita. In this book he tells the (tall) tale of the original margarita; introduces Margarita 101 for those just getting started; then boldly goes where few other cantinamasters have, offering Passion-Peach Margaritas, Frozen Watermelon Margaritas, and Pineapple Margaritas, to name but a few. If you like your tequila straight, follow his lead and add the zests of a few oranges, lemons, and limes to a bottle of your favorite brand. Let it steep for two days, then sip it icy cold from the freezer. ¡Excellente!

Title: Delightfully distilled wisdom, from an expert host.
Review: After all the gushing about the photos -- okay, they're great -- somebody needs to point out how good the recipes are! Park Kerr offers a wealth of information, in an easy-to-read format. With guests literally walking through the door, I was able to whip up a huge batch of frozen margaritas with next to no effort -- one guest, who has some expertise in these matters, can't stop raving about them -- "By far the best I've ever had," he says. (Kerr's secret ingredients made all the difference.) As with all good cookbooks, this one gives you loads of tips and tricks that make a good recipe ten times more interesting and fun. You get clear explanations about the various grades of tequila, so there's no confusion when you're facing a dizzying array of bottles at the liquor store. All in all, a tight, concise, well-informed guide that is presented with real panache. It's the next best thing to crossing the bridge to Ciudad Juarez, headed for the Kentucky Club on a Friday night. Hats off to Park Kerr, and, yes, a tip of the lens cap to Duane Winfield.

Title: Get out your grass skirt!
Review: This is a great recipe book for tiki drinks you'll love in any time of the year. 😉 I wished it had listed more food recipes than drinks, but they are still all very tasty. I suggest getting this book if you are big on theme parties and need some amazing recipes to wow your guests. Yum yum!

Title: Amazing
Review: I have made plenty of the drinks in this book and they are all fantastic. occaisonally i added a little more lime juice or sugar for my own tastes but this book is great. even the food recipies are great. I tried out the bar-b-que sauce.....i don't think i've ever danced a jig before over bar-b-que sauce. i highly reccomend this book. the only drawback would be that there aren't pictures for every single recipie, but there are plenty to make up for it.

Title: Good Things In Small Package
Review: Not a big book, but one that packs a punch! (pun intended)The recipe for pork tenderloin is probably the best anywhere. My husband has made it for friends and a Christmas Eve dinner. It got rave reviews. The flan with marinated (in rum) fruit is an amazing dessert. The mojito recipe works like a charm. You can do a complete dinner with this book, or just pick and choose to complement other menus you're planning. What else can I say except mmmmm ...

Title: Great Recipes!
Review: This is a super addition to not only your drink recipe library, but your cookbook collection as well! I just made the "Baby Back Ribs with Guava Glaze" - it's great! We cooked up the glaze while sipping the recipe for an improved Cuba Libre. This little book is well worth the price; pick it up, cook with it and prepare to dazzle your guests (or just treat yourself).

Title: Great Pictures
Review: The recipes are o.k., but I have never seen such good looking drink pictures in my life. I'm an alcoholic & couldn't stop myself from having to try every drink that was pictured. Thank you.
