Title: These bags are great!
Review: I NEVER write reviews... but felt compelled to do so... about turkey bags, LOL. I used to use Ziplock ginormous bags and while they were fine, it just seemed so unnecessary (and they are tinted blue). But, finding these made my day! Definitely large enough for the largest bird to be completely inside with lots of room to spare (but not as much as the Ziplock). Plus, these are clear, no smell, BPA-free, and perfect for dry brining my bird... I'm so happy to have found them!

Title: A bit hard to close, but really sturdy
Review: Really strong plastic. I had to cut the turkeys in half to fit in the fryer and I was afraid the bags would be puncture, but they nothing happened. I moved the turkeys several times and the bones didn't puncture the bags. Good product!

Title: Great size, very sturdy
Review: We always buy a big turkey, and these are big enough for our 18-20 pounder. They're very thick and heavy duty, and have a zip-lock top that actually works. And they also include pieces of kitchen twine to tie the bag for extra security. Highly recommend!

Title: Hard to open and close.
Review: We used these bags to package the turkeys we raised for thanksgiving. The bags are large, thick and sturdy. They are very difficult to get open the first time. Took us 10 minutes or so to get the zips separated so we could put the turkeys in. But once they were open it was easy after that. They work well for storage and brining and I never worried about the bag tearing.

Title: first bag had a leak
Review: first bag had a leak, I was using it to brine a turkey. Thankfully I had it in a 5 gal bucket. Have three bags left so next year I will water test it first. The bags seem to be sturdy.

Title: Zipper slider came off; very hard to use.
Review: These bags are very large, and probably too big for a 16 lb. turkey. The zipper slider fell off as soon as I tried to use it, so I had to try to seal the bag by hand, since I could not put it back on and make it work. It took 3 people to get most of the air out of the bag, seal it, and tie it up once the turkey was in the bag. I do not recommend this product.
Customers say
Customers like the size, sturdiness, and quality of the food storage bag. They mention it's thick, has plenty of space for a large turkey, and won't tear. Some say it works great to brine their turkeys. However, some customers have reported that their first bag had a leak.
