Have you ever felt like your "I do" in marriage has turned into "I don’t anymore?"

Have you ever felt that the man you thought was your soulmate has turned into more of a roommate? If so, then Lovestruck will help you see your marriage from a fresh perspective and reignite the passion that was there in the beginning. While the extent of the church’s message has traditionally been, "If you’re not married, don’t do it," and "If you are married, don’t talk about it, " it’s time to see what God has to say sexual intimacy.

With the Song of Solomon as a backdrop, bestselling author Sharon Jaynes will take you on a daring journey to discover how to

recognize outside factors that cause hurt feelings and create healthy boundaries that protect your relationship;overcome feelings of guilt about your level of desire for physical intimacy by understanding God’s original intent;recognize the warning signs of growing indifference by taking steps to make marriage a priority;regain the passion of the early years by remembering and returning to what brought you together in the first place; andrecalibrate the direction your marriage is headed by starting with the end in mind.

When we see God's design for spiritual and physical oneness, we'll have the foundation for a love that lasts a lifetime.

Title: Best book on marriage I have ever read!
Review: Each morning when I read my Daily Devotional emails, I get super excited when I see one from Sharon Jaynes. I love her writing and how she breaks things down to a level anyone can understand and learn from. When I saw that she wrote a new book on marriage “Lovestruck” I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. Lovestruck absolutely did not disappoint! Sharon shares her heart and understanding of what God wants for marriage and intimacy, but she also breaks down a beautiful book of the Bible in ways that I had never heard before. Song of Solomon is a book of the Bible that I don’t recall ever hearing any teaching on. So, Sharon’s careful way of breaking down each chapter and giving the meaning behind the words totally makes sense. Song of Solomon is a beautiful love poem and Sharon carefully highlighted each chapter so that I was able to understand what was written. Through this journey, I gained a new perspective on loving my husband even though we are way past the “honeymoon phase”. The Song of Solomon (and Sharon) reminds us how our husbands should show us love and the Shulamite is a great representation of how I should love my husband. Not every day is a good day in my marriage, but this book has completely changed the way I respond on the “bad days”. The book is 11 chapters and was something I had a hard time putting down because I was learning so much. I would highly recommend this book to every married couple no matter how long they have been married.

Title: It IS a God given gift!
Review: I am 51 years old and have been married for 27 years.I have been told time and time again that at my age and length of marriage, it is normal for romance and intimacy to diminish or disappear altogether. Something inside of me would not let me believe this, it just didn’t sound or feel right.Once again, Sharon Jaynes shares with others what God has put on her heart in a thorough, easy to understand book that addresses this very issue. This book, “Lovestruck” by Sharon Jaynes, showed me that romance and intimacy are all part of God’s perfect plan for marriage. The book reveals what true romance and passion, within the boundaries of marriage, looks and feels like. I learned that desire for my husband, and his desire for me, is a God given gift. The expression of that desire may change over the years, but it is meant to last a lifetime. I learned that conflicts will arise, and that forgiveness and love will overcome all those conflicts.Lovestruck will take you on a walk through the love relationship of King Solomon, the wisest man to ever live, and his Shulamite bride as it is seen in the Song of Solomon. Who better to get advice from? The book walks through their relationship from the beginning of their courtship, through the working part of life, on through the later years. Everyone is in one of these stages of life or another with our spouses and can learn something no matter what stage we are in.This is one book you will never regret owning.Penny C. Title: Best “How To” Book on Marriage!
Review: After having met Sharon Jaynes, hearing her speak multiple times, and reading several of her other books, I already expected that “Lovestruck” would be a great work before I read it. Sharon has such a heart for strong marriages and loving families, and her books clearly reflect that about her. Once again, she did not disappoint! Not only did she share her heart and understanding of what God wants for marriage and intimacy, but she also breaks down a beautiful book of the Bible in ways that most of us haven’t heard before. It reminded me of my favorite college classes as a creative writing major: writing workshops. Sharon breaks down the Song of Solomon like a beautiful love poem, highlighting imagery, social context and significant points throughout the scriptures. Through this, we can envision an actual picture of marriage and intimacy in the beauty that God wants for us. Not only are we reminded by Solomon of how our men should show us love, but the Shulammite is also a representative of how we should love our husbands. This is a great lesson to learn at any point in a marriage, because as life bears down on us after the honeymoon phase, it’s easy to forget to love each other every day with intention. This, as well as many other lessons on loving our spouses, are tucked into the pages of Lovestruck. I’ve heard it said that there is no “how-to” book on marriage, but I would recommend every wife have this one on hand it as a reference from the honeymoon phase and onward!

Title: God has to be part of every good marriage!
Review: This book appealed to me first because of the author. I have read a book of hers and done a bible study and loved that book. I have also attended a retreat in which she spoke and loved her speaking ability and content. I also needed a book on marriage just at that time to help renew my live for my husband. This book was everything I hoped it would be and more. I learned how to live my husband more and put myself and the world aside. I also learned what the bible and God says about intimacy and marriage. I felt convicted in parts as I didn't follow God’s ways for intimacy and save it for marriage but now learned that I can forgive .In a world with mixed up values this was a refreshing vision on marriage and what it should be like! I shared a few thoughts with some friends especially one struggling with a divorce and encouraged her to seek counseling before giving up. This world needs more authors and books on what Christian living is really about. Too many people just choose what they want to take from the bible and what they can change to fit their lifestyle. Thanks Sharon for making me think and encouraging us women to be what our Godly husbands want us to be!
