Jesus was coming to dinner, and Martha was busy, busy, busy.
But Mary was not busy at all...
This engaging retelling of Mary and Martha from Luke 10 v 38-42 teaches pre-school children that listening to Jesus is always the best thing to do!

Title: An authentic Biblical story made simple for kids
Review: Perfect book to have kids read the Word of the LORD on their own. The book tells the true story of Jesus, Mary and Martha with lots of exciting words. Great way to keep kids fully engaged while learn who Jesus is.

Title: Fantastic
Review: The author is on point biblically and has found a way to really summarize the original, canonical intent of the passages in a way that is fun and real. Itâs a wild challenge today to find kid books that accomplish this and these do it. Iâll keep ordering them as long as theyâre being written. Well done.

Title: Little Me, Big God
Review: The âLittle Me, Big Godâ series of childrenâs books from the Good Book Company contains three volumes (thus far): The Man Who Would Not Be Quiet!, Never Too Little!, and The Best Thing to Do! All three are written by Steph Williams. These sturdy paperbacks are just right for beginning readers or for reading to even younger children. These three books will go to my two-year-old niece for Christmas. (Donât tell her!) Each page of the book has colorful pictures and short sentences â one or two sentences per page. At the end of the book, there is a section of ânotes for grown-upsâ to help grown-ups explain what the story means and how to respond to it. Also included is the biblical text from the NIV version â which would be good to read to the child, as well as the book to encourage recognition of the Scripture and to encourage learning to hear and understand it.The Man Who Would Not Be Quiet! Is a telling of the story of Blind Bartimaeus. The child learns that there are some things â such as Jesus being the Savior â that are worth shouting about.Never Too Little! Is a telling of the children coming to Jesus. The child learns that he or she is not too little to come to Jesus and ask for His salvation. The Best Thing to Do! Is a telling of the story of Mary and Martha. The child learns that the best thing to do is to listen to Jesus. This are a great series of books, and I encourage you to buy them and give them to the little ones in your family. Who knows, their parents may come to Jesus through reading to their children. [This review appears on my blog, my YouTube channel, Amazon.com, and Goodreads.com.]

Title: Great content, cover sticky
Review: Let me begin by saying I love the content of these books but the third one I received was covered in sticky handprints. Iâm not sure what happened. I thought they were new.

Title: These are adorable
Review: This series is short and sweet but allows you to keep the attention of young wandering minds. I purchased these for a 3 and 6 year old. Short, sweet, biblically based and accurate; an overall nice little book for bedtime, or anytime. Allows an introduction to scriptural stories without getting to "over the top" and detailed for young learning minds. I'm glad I bought them. Oh, and of you're a long distance grandparent like me, I bought this for the grandkids and will purchase the same titles for my home. This will allow me to read the stories over Zoom (or an equivalent) while the kids can have the same book in their hands at their location. This allows us all to have the physical book for "long distance" bedtime story time. Affordable for this purpose. 🙂
