Title: Look elsewhere for a cookbook.
Review: The recipes are quite diverse and inventive. They might inspire curiosity to even try to make something. Nothing inspires confidence to try a recipe more than a picture of a finished product, of that there are none. There are sketches in the book but they are there to avoid embarrassing white space and unrelated to any text nearby.There is utterly no organization to the book. Consecutive recipes are Japanese meatloaf, Malaysian, Tuscan Mediterranean, southwest, Durham, Sweden.Likewise, there are no authorâs comments about any recipe.Every recipe has a box stating servings per Recipe, as well as figures for calories, fat, carbs, protein, cholesterol and sodium. Nowhere in the book is it explained whether these figures are per recipe or per servingI get the feeling the publisher required 50 recipes thus the book finishes up with recipes for Ras el Hanout and Japanese Style Teriyaki Sauce (which is not mentioned in the earlier recipe for âTeriyaki meatloafâ).
