Review: Fast and accurate. Swivel probe allows flexibility in taking measurements. Auto shut off in addition to shut off by folding probe closed to save battery. Really nice feature when probe is unfolded is a motion sensor the turns probe back on when you pick it up again. Backlit LED display for use in low light. Display auto rotates 180°. Waterproof and lifetime warranty. Uses one included AAA battery. Inexpensive. Only feature lacking is a display hold feature that is available on other models by this manufacturer on its more expensive models.

Title: Excellent Instant Read Thermometer
Review: I've bought a number of "instant read" thermometers in the past but they were definitely not "instant"! This one is and I love it! When standing over a hot grill or testing something in a hot over, don't want something that needs to be held in place for 30 seconds. This one reads instantly! I'm so impressed with it that I've ordered 3 for our daughters for Christmas presents.

Review: Very pleased with my purchase. I was first considering purchasing one of the expensive brands, but decided to give this one a shot first. I am very pleased. It provides fast, accurate readings. I like how the display will change directions depending on how you are holding the thermometer so that the temperature read out is always facing up. I also like that it runs on a AAA battery and not a coin cell battery. I would recommend and would purchase again.

Title: The Best I Have Ever Used!
Review: I am not a professional chef, so I don't need a thermometer having all the bells, whistles, and satellite capabilities that some have. In fact, if I were a pro, I would not need one at all. I just need one that is reliable and works well. This is it. Everything about it is user friendly, and I love the fact that is uses one AAA battery. It does everything that it's advertised to do. I am very pleased with this purchase.
