National Best Seller

An up-close portrait of the mind of an addict and a life unraveled by narcotics - a memoir of captivating urgency and surprising humor that puts a human face on the opioid crisis.

“Raw, brutal, and shocking. Move over, Orange Is the New Black.” (Amy Dresner, author of My Fair Junkie)

When word got out that Tiffany Jenkins was withdrawing from opiates on the floor of a jail cell, people in her town were shocked. Not because of the 20 felonies she’d committed, or the nature of her crimes, or even that she’d been captain of the high school cheerleading squad just a few years earlier, but because her boyfriend was a Deputy Sherriff, and his friends - their friends - were the ones who’d arrested her.

A raw and twisty, pause resisting memoir that sounds like fiction, High Achiever spans Tiffany’s life as an active opioid addict, her 120 days in a Florida jail where every officer despised what she’d done to their brother in blue, and her eventual recovery. With heart-racing urgency and unflinching honesty, Jenkins takes you inside the grips of addiction and the desperate decisions it breeds. She is a born storyteller who lived an incredible story, from blackmail by an ex-boyfriend to a soul-shattering deal with a drug dealer, and her telling brims with suspense and unexpected wit. But the true surprise is her path to recovery. Tiffany breaks through the stigma and silence to offer hope and inspiration to anyone battling the disease - whether it’s a loved one or themselves.

Title: Relatable True Grit Content- A MUST Read!
Review: For various reasons, I read a lot of books about addiction - whether drugs (various types) or food (binge, purge or not eat at all) and mental illnesses, including cutting, Schizophrenia, bipolar and even multiple personality disorders. I don’t read clinical books. I read memoirs. For the most part almost every memoir begins with various forms of the addiction; the highs and the lows, the ins and the outs, and then in all honesty, they get boring when the person gets better. I always questioned whether it just served some type of purpose in me to read when they were going through all the crap, since I feel like I’ve never perfected my life. When they started to get better, that’s when I found it all boring. I’m glad for them, but it tends to be a predictable boring read. This particular book, grabbed me by the throat pretty much from the first two pages. The author writes much how you would expect anybody to talk and she always put in a funny sentence that one would most likely think at the time. I totally related to who she was, not so much the path she was on, but that she was so honest and that it was easy to see when she was sort of being irrational because of the drugs and the poor choices that she made. She rationalized the things she did, but she was so completely human and relatable. I really wanted to write a review by the first chapter, but forced myself to wait. I was bummed when it ended. As I read the short bio at the end of the book, I realized that she was someone that I saw on Tik Tok! Naturally I went back and watched every single video she made on there and that’s when I really realized she’s wicked funny and super real. I was already following her on that app, so she must’ve made me laugh at some point. Whether you’re an addict, or were an addict or not even one at all, you will find this book crazy-good. This is an incredibly worthy read. You know it’s a good book when you think really hard about who you could give this book to, without offending someone or even insinuating they have a problem, but more for it’s relatable true grit content. I’m completely honest when I say that I will never forget this book and there’s a really good chance I’ll read it again. To the author, I will tell her hands down it was the one of the best, well written book I’ve read!

Title: **WARNING** Addictive Author Ahead!!!
Review: In the six straight hours that this book held my unwavering attention, I became an addict; the urge and craving to read more from Tiffany Jenkins is almost unbearable.Tiffany Jenkins is by far the most powerful writer I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing, and I am an avid reader. This book is REAL. In the six hours from the time I opened this book until the time I read the last word, I laughed, I cried, I became angry, I felt disgust, I experienced hormonal fluctuations (yep, I am keeping it clean), I felt empathy and sympathy, I cheered for and against Tiffany, and by the end, I was left in absolute awe over the brilliance of this book. Tiffany is painfully honest about what she went through to become the awesome person she is today, and her story is skillfully told so that the book is a page-turner. Simply put, this is a beautifully written story of love, heartbreak, addiction, betrayal, friendship, and recovery, all while lending a view to the ugly the insides of our penal and legal systems, wrapped up in a beautifully written mystery/thriller/romance novel. I have never read a 369 page book in one sitting, but I did today.I will not go into detail about the book itself, because I cannot do Tiffany justice because I could never tell her story better than her. I do not care what type book you prefer to read, I assure you this one will not leave you disappointed. I read almost every genre of book, and have read hundreds. This one wins by a landslide!!Go ahead and click that "Buy Now" button, and while you are at it, buy a few more copies for friends and loved ones to save yourself the trouble of having to come back and do it later.I'm going to go try to find my kids now as that movie I put in six hours ago is probably over by now. 😉

Title: powerlessness! hope in recovery!
Review: This is a beautiful story that reminded me of how God works through people in offering hope to alcoholics and addicts every day and the miracle of recovery! I am a sober recovering woman alcoholic because of my surrender and God’s grace and the rooms of Alcoholics Anonymous!

Title: perspective!
Review: It only took me a day to read. I enjoyed the writing and style. The book made me think from different perspectives. I thought of the ego, the biases, the double life. The author did a great job depicting the grief and awfulness of chronic relapse. She tread some thin water when discussing the pregnant gal she judged so harshly 🤣 man even drug addict judge others and have the audacity to look down their nose at people😬 ( been guilty of this myself too I guess). I would have loved to learn about any amends made or where Eliot landed after all of this. Great read all in all. Highly recommend!

Review: Let me start off by saying that I am not a reader. Ive only read a few books completly to the end. But this book, I didn't want to put down. When I did put it down, I couldn't wait to pick it up again. I finished it in a few days. I love that she doesn't hold anything back, tells it as it was/is and bares it all. A beautiful book about adversity, strength and overcoming personal demons. I am so proud of her -weird to say I know but really after everything she went through and seeing her on the otherwise. How can one not be proud of her! Anyway - great book. You should definitely read it!

Review: Intriguing story, great writer..I found Tiffany from her blog and was curious to know more. She’s inspirational for anyone, I think, to live life fuller and never give up. I’m not an addict but reading her story has helped me to understand that world just a little bit.
