Title: Wow I love these shoes!
Review: They are cushioned yet supportive, and really rock you forward with each step. Well balanced and secure. Highly recommend!!BE AWARE: these shoes run small! I ordered a size 13 and they were too short and tight. I expected that possibly because I wear a 13 wide in the Cumulus and Kayano And these didn’t come in wide.I sent the 13 and ordered a pair of 14s and they are perfect!! Definitely order at least a half full-size up!!

Title: Great shoes but size up...way up
Review: I used to be an 11 regular all day long. Now, with Hoka, Asics, New Balance, etc, I'm buying 12's and now with these shoes, even 12-1/2's! This is nuts.But first impressions are impressive. Very well made. Super squishy. Reviews say they have good traction.

Title: Best Series Yet
Review: I’ve owned the previous 2 versions and would have to say these are by far the best version yet. Supportive, but yet cushioned enough to wear on long distances. I’ve used these for hiking and running and they have become my go to for anything outdoor related. Need to buy a second pair.

Title: Game changer on the trails
Review: These eat up the trails. Had little issue traversing through sand, gravel and mud. ASICS really did a great job creating the sole for this shoe. It’s a somewhat wide toe box allowing for pretty good comfort. It’s definitely on the heavier side for a trail runner but it makes up for it with the added protection you’ll receive from rocks and roots. The appearance is thicker than most running shoes but that’s expected from a trail runner. It’s a very stable shoes despite the high rise. The max cushion comes in handy, I was able to take these on a 6 mile run through Boston and had no fatigue or pain. I have a bad knee and had no issue when wearing these. Like I said I wore these in Boston on pavement, it’s a very versatile shoe if that’s what you need. I wouldn’t make it your primary runner for roads as there’s the possibly of wearing down the studs faster. All in all though these max 2s are great. Pick them up while they last!

Title: Max Cushion Trail Shoe, performs well, runs small
Review: Amazon recommended I buy 11.5, I went with my regular size of 12, should have gone 12.5. Normal shoe size is just a little too snug, not horrible for short runs, but hurts my feet on a long run. Grip is great, was not slipping on steep rocks. Very cushioned, but it does make the shoe slightly unstable in technical uneven terrain. It's nice at first, but as I got more tired I found myself getting close to rolling my ankle more. If I got the correct size, I would make this my shoe for longer, smoother trail runs. For the technical running/hiking I'll probably stick to my low stack shoe.

Title: Excellent shoes!
Review: Plenty of cushion! Thanks to everyone who recommended going up a half size, they fit perfectly with a nice wide (but not too wide) toe box. This is the first pair of shoes I have bought online because I couldn't find them locally. I looked through the reviews and made the right choice. The soles are amazing and really show their superior grip on wet surfaces. They roll you forward with each stride . It's the first pair of real trail running shoes I have bought and am quite happy with them.
