Title: The perfect snow boot. Comes in wide.
Review: Extremely utilitarian, tough snow boots that work as advertised. These are the best snow boots I have ever owned. They are warm, comfortable and can flex a bit as you walk despite how high they are. And most importantly, they are incredibly sturdy and truly water and snow proof. They keep my feet warm and dry during multiple hours of shoveling and messing around in the snow. I have never owned a boot that was this good at keeping snow from entering the boot. The grip of the sole is very good too. I love that they run in wide sizes too. Fits perfectly, true to size. I usually have to wear an 11.5 or 12 if the shoe doesn’t come in wide sizes, but I was able to order an 11W which fit perfectly. Somehow despite its sturdiness, this boot is flexible enough to lace up extremely quickly too. If you fiddle with adjusting the laces to the size of your foot and ankle, it literally slips on and off while maintaining a tight seal.Pros:- waterproof- keeps snow out- warm- large size selection, including wide- extremely fast lacing- strong grip- flexible despite sturdinessCons:- if you have roommates with similar sized feet, they will be attempting to borrow these to dig their cars out of the snow

Title: Great winter boot - but do go up in size chosen...
Review: After checking out several review videos online, the Kamik (Nation or Wide) was consistently a well thought of choice. Biggest complaint I heard was that the Kamik-Wide was misleading and some with wide feet were disappointed with fit and that "wide" (according to Kamik website) refers to size at top of boot, not toe space. So being cautious, I canceled my Kamik-Wide order and opted instead for a Kamik-Nation size 14 (14 was no longer available from Amazon for Wide). I have had toe rubbing causing bruising with my 1-size bigger rubber boots so went 3-sizes bigger for this order. When the boots came and I tried them on for my first walk out in the cold, I was elated at the feeling of warmth and space in the boots! It seriously felt like walking barefoot, but with protection and comfort. And no more red, cold toes from rubbing of too-small boots!!!I am, however, not pleased with the durability of the insert booties as I already see a sign of wear damage starting on one of the seems, so be sure to get an extra pair of booties as a backup if you will be relying on these to keep you warm and comfy in cold, winter conditions.

Title: Decent Boots at an Impossible to Beat Price!
Review: I bought these because I was looking for a burly winter boot that didn't break the bank and this pair definitely checks both boxes. They are not as water resistant as my previous pair, but far cheaper and easier to use. So here are the important pros and cons I found for the Kamik Nationplus.* The Good *- Warmth: I was very surprised at how warm these boots were for the amount of insulation in them (200 grams). There is only the bare minimum of stitching in the liner, which prevents the insulation from compressing and provides a lot of warmth. Although I'm pretty sure this will negatively impact durability, I am totally fine with dropping another ~$50 on these in four or five years.- Ease of Use: The tongue and liner are both pretty loose and makes getting into/out of the boots a breeze. None of the hard pulling and twisting I've had to do with boots in the past.- Comfort: The Kamik's are a little tighter than other winter boots, which I like in a winter boot. Many others are kind of loose so you can fit extra socks/liners in to regulate temperature. However, that is not really needed with the extra lofty insulation previously mentioned. The snug fit definitely made me feel more confident on slippery pavement.- Traction: These boots have some pretty deep lugs that give it some serious grip. I found they do really well on pavement, but not as well on straight ice.* The Bad *- Durability: Like I said before, the lack of much stitching in the liners is probably going to cause them to wear out faster than other boots. I would say it's a decent trade off because the extra loft this provides adds a lot to the comfort level.- Water Resistance: That ease of use I talked about before comes at a price. If the boots are not tied very tightly, water gets in past the waterproof tongue. I did some testing in the backyard and found the waterproof claim is generous at best when dealing with slush or water like deep puddles. Snow was fine, but you have to make sure you really cinch the laces down when expecting lots of slush. To be honest, if these were priced more like other winter boots they would be a 3 star product at best. However, I paid $50 for my pair and now they are down to less than $40. That is less than even half the price of some of its closest competitors! That is an extremely low price for a pair of boots that, while definitely not among the best out there, comes kind of close. For that amount, I would be cool with buying these every four or five years.

Title: KAMIK WATERPROOF SNOW BOOTS
Review: Due to the thick heavy thermal boot inner lining the size 12 M was too small. I had to return these boots for a larger size.I will write another review for the new replacement shipment I received. After our big snowfall in Northeast US was over on Jan. 22, 2014, I laced up my KAMIK boots and headed outside my home to shovel the 14 inches of powder snow we received the day before. With the new size 13M boots on my feetmy feet were completely warm, dry and very comfortable. These formerly Canadian made boots are now manufactured in China, so all potential customers are advised to order at least 1 full size larger because these boots do run small. Let me tell you the temperature was about 9 degrees outside, and I was in the freezing cold weather for over 5 hours all bundled up from head to toe and my feet never got cold or wet. I also made sure to blouse my cuffs of jeans inside the boots to keep them dry. I really like the tall length of these boots. Great for deep snow. I did have a thin pair of socks on my feet wearing these boots; don't know if they will be too tight wearing a thick pair of wool socks. I did like reading another customer's review stating he placed inserts inside boots for better support. Needless to say that I have upgraded my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars after wearing this product. This product is well worth the very moderate price I was charged for them.

Review: The boots seem to be well made. I have used them for a season now and bought mostly to go out and shovel the snow, but use them on some walks with the family or tobogganing. The sole is a but hard so I bought a thermal insole, cut it to size, and it adds some extra cushion and warmth. I would recommend sizing up on these as they fit a bit snug. I am normally a size 10.5 - 11, and I bought these in size 12. I probably could have gotten away with a size 11.5, but I like that they are easy to take off, and with the added thermal insole they fit well.
