Title: Unbelievably Great Shave!
Review: Far and away, the best shave I have had in years — maybe ever! For 45 years I have used the “best” razor and blades on the market. I used store bought razors and used mail order clubs to order razors. I considered myself someone who would NEVER try an electric razor. I tried a couple of electric razors 30 years ago, and they were terrible. They pulled my skin, gave a poor shave, and left red marks on my face.A friend told me electric razors have come a long way in the last 30 years, so I reluctantly gave it a try. After reading many reviews, I decided to get a top-of-the-line brand and model. The Braun Model 9 Pro FAR EXCEEDED my expectations. It gives me a great, close shave with a dry beard. When my beard is wet, it gives me one of the best shaves I have ever had. My shaving time is cut in half, I have no razor burn, and the shave is better than with my mail order, club razor. The cleaning system is fantastic. This will save me money on supplies too. I will still have to buy foils and cleaning trays, but it will be less expensive than the blades. The negative with the Braun Pro 9 is the initial cost, which is around $300, or more, depending on model. You will save money on supplies, but it will take a while to recoup your $300 with this savings. However, I think the price is worth it — although this is the maximum price point I would pay — the shave feels that good. If the price was $50 - $100 lower, I would buy several as gifts for family and friends. If the initial price is within your budget, I highly recommend the Braun Pro 9 Foil Electric Razor.

Title: My Best Electric Razon So Far
Review: I have exclusively used electric razors for the last 45 years. Over the last 15 years, I had been quite happy with mid-level Norelco rotary razors. Still, I thought it was time to try something different. This review is essentially a compare and contrast with my previous Norelco 7300 series razor.First and foremost: For my face, the 9460 shaves faster, closer, and more comfortably. I really didn't expect to feel much of an improvement in closeness, but from the first shave, the results with the 9460 were better.Second: I generally used the cleaning station and recharger once a week with the 7300. Shaving daily, I never had the battery run out even over 2 weeks. I am keeping to the same schedule with the 9460. So far, I have noticed the battery indicator drop 1 bar out of 5 in the course of daily shaving over a week. It looks like the 9460 battery usage is as good or better.Third: I always liked how easily I could shave between lip and nose using one of the 3 cutters of the 7300. I was concerned that the bulkier seeming 9460 head would get into those tight spots as well. Well, it turns out I was worried for nothing. Left-right or up-down, the 9460 lets me get to those tight spots.Fourth: The jaw line and under the jaw have always been the toughest places for me to get smooth, probably due to the sharper curves. I liked the way the 3 heads of the 7300 would shape to my jaw line, and I expected the 9460 wouldn't do as well left to right, but would do best up and down. It turns out that several narrow passes left to right along my jaw works marvelously with the 9460.Fifth: I never had an issue with the 7300 overheating or causing razor burn on my throat and the 9460 is just as good. Probably a bit better if I'm completely honest.Sixth: The 7300 cleaning cartridges are more expensive, but I like the "spicy-fresh" scent better than the lemony scent of the 9460 cleaning cartridges.Seventh: Even at the Black Friday price, the 9460 is still quite a bit more expensive.Eighth: The 9460 is heavier, but to my hand, it feels like a "quality" weightiness and is not an issue for me.Nineth: The 9460 sound is a high speed vibration buzz, versus the high speed rotary whir buzz of the 7300. My initial impression of the 9460 was that it was like a high speed, mini massage vibration which I actually liked. I think the 9460 is a tad louder than the 7300.Ultimately, my wife and I both like the smoother shave. There may be cheaper options that are just as good, but if the 9460 fits your budget (and you have a face and hair like mine) I think the upgrade from the rotary 7300 is worth the price.

Title: Used it in the shower and out. Can’t beat Braun quality
Review: I last used a Remington electric razor 25 years earlier when I switched to a safety razor. I bought this to see if I could get as close a shave in same time. Still not as close but a very nice razor. I’ve used it inside the shower and out. The cleaning stand is a bit bulky and the cleaner is basically diluted isopropyl alcohol. Works great and plows through 5 days of stubble easily. Can’t beat the quality.
