Title: Great series for vacation reading!
Review: I am not an avid reader, but I good hooked on this series. It's fun, whitty, and just an all around an enjoyable and easy read. I live in the Northern Virginia area. When I read the first Findley Donovan book, it made reference to so many places I know and frequently visit. While fiction, the stage is real, which brought a fun aspect to the read. Definitely recommend if you're looking for something light and enjoyable.If you are looking for serious, realistic, and anything that could depict reality; this is not for you 🙂

Title: another entertaining read!
Review: Rounding up to 4 but honestly feel like I didn’t give the first part of this book a fair chance because I wasn’t reading consistently at all so was having a hard time getting into it. Once I finally got back into reading mode, I flew through the second half. Just like the first 2 of the series, this book was a little ridiculous and unrealistic at times, but still very entertaining! This one in particular kept me on my toes and had several twists I didn’t see coming. It was funny and suspenseful and also had a little more romance in this one. At the beginning of this book I thought I might be done with the series, but now I’m back into it and after the ending, I’m eager to see what happens next!

Title: Not so sure about this one.
Review: This is the third book in the series and all of the characters are here. We find out a little more about Vero and this time the action takes place at a citizens police academy. It felt a little more contrived and a little tired but it ends with a bang. On to book 4!

Title: all the twists and turns
Review: I liked this 3rd installment of these characters better than the previous two. Never a dull moment when these two are involved with more and more backstory revealed with each book/chapter. Can’t wait to see what they’re up to in book 4.

Title: Absurd and entertaining!
Review: This series is nothing short of ridiculous, but it is super entertaining. As usual, Finlay and Vero get themselves into all sorts of trouble while trying to crack a mystery. The mob is bearing down on them, and they have a couple of close calls. It’s a really fun book, and I recommend it if you enjoy a good mystery with a dash of absurdity and lovable characters.
