Review: This review is for the Saranna Mini Split Stand, Adjustable Mini Spilit Ground Stand, Heavy Duty AC Stand w/800 LBS Load Capacity for 9000-60000 BTU Ductless Mini Split Air Conditioner Heat Pump.I see I get the honor of the very first review! So up for review we have this heavy duty adjustable width metal mini split stand in white. The listing doesn't specify the metal, but it';s heavy! Listing says it's 18.5 Lbs, but it sure feels heavier than that! I don't have a scale to weigh it, and I'll grant you I'm handicapped with a bad back, but that little box was heavy! LOL.So I'll paint this black and I'll be using it on top of a very heavy duty 36 inch tall shelving unit to add another level. The stand adjusts from 26.4 inches to 43.3 inches wide, and 10.2 inches to 15.4 inches deep, the height of 14.8 inches high is fixed. It would be nice if the height could be adjusted too.To be clear to adjust how deep it is from front to back the metal is fixed, you adjust the pads on top. This is as opposed to adjusting the width where you actually adjust the metal bars. This also has nice big round feet on it to sit stable on say a block base pad.This is a nice looking stand, simple to assemble and very sturdy! It's clean simple lines and looking. I have no doubt this would work as a mini split stand, but don't limit yourself in use of it! Think outside the box! Be sure to check your measurements of your unit for fit before ordering.This is painted to help resist weather effects to the metal, but maybe consider building patially protect it, get a cover for the winter...To be clear, I do NOT currently have a mini split unit to even put on this. I have considered getting some as we have an older house and we can't put a central air unit on our furnace for several reasons we've been told. We currently use window AC units, but we could do mini split units in the future when the budget allows.Regular price $89.99 per the listing. These units aren't cheap, but you need to make sure you have a heavy duty stand for your unit to protect it. Maybe watch for a sale/coupon, browse listings....As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.
