Title: USED Franklin Wireless JEXtream RF2100
Review: This review is for the used/refurbished Franklin Wireless JEXtream RG2100. The listing I purchased from was primarily for a new device, but I purchased the refurbished option from a third-party seller.I was skeptical of buying refurbished, but the RG2100 that I received was an excellent option. It was packaged well and included a power cable (USB-A -> USB-C) and Qualcomm USB-A power adapter. The battery seems to hold a great charge in the little time I've used it. The device itself is in great physical condition - some minor scratches on the display, but nothing major. The rubber battery cover on the bottom the device still snaps in perfectly.I was able to use my existing SIM for T-Mobile's $10/mo 30GB data plan without any issues. Debug mode shows the 5G N41 band being used (aka 5G "UC" on mobile phones). A 600MB/sec speed test achieved via T-Mobile servers on Ookla's speedtest.net. Ping to 1.1.1.1 was excellent and on-par with an equivalent test performed on my T-Mobile 5GUC iPhone 13. I was also able to connect the RG2100 to my laptop where it showed as a network device with direct connectivity (no Wifi)! Very happy camper with this purchase!Of note: The device I received IS locked to T-Mobile. The listing specifically stated this was the T-Mobile version and did not specify the device as being unlocked. I'm not removing any stars from this rating due to this, but wanted to mention this in case it helps others. While you would not be able to use an AT&T or Verizon SIM in this, it is likely to work with any other T-Mobile MVNO like Google Fi, Mint, Tello, Ultra Mobile, etc.

Title: Amazing Saving Center is scamming selling used as new
Review: I'm not the first reviewer to notice this, but I bought a 'new' hotspot and noticed the box looked odd and worn. Upon opening it, it seemed really weird that the item was dusty, there was no documentation, and the cable had bends and kinks in it despite not being tied with a cable-tie or twisty. It was obvious at this point that it was a used item, but I went and watched a box opening video and yes, it should have come with documentation and the charger I received wasn't the original. I'd hesitate to even call this open box in quality. I'd hope it was a mistake, but given the other review from months ago, this seems to be fraud.

Title: Very reliable hotspot, great battery life
Review: I like that this hotspot has an easy to use web interface, it's reliable and the battery lasts for a long time. I haven't tested just how long with extended use, but I've used this for an entire work day then forgot to turn it off and used it all day the next day too without completely draining the battery. The only reason I give this 4 stars is because, as a router, the configuration options are very lacking. I'd love to be able to assign IP addresses and set QoS options so I can allow the kids to use it but prioritize 1 or 2 devices to make sure those get max bandwidth. As it is, there are no QoS settings so your kids watching Netflix on their tablets will be causing your Zoom meeting to disconnect.I would love to see a firmware update giving some basic options like that, even just the ability to prioritize 1 devices over all the others.

Title: No Ethernet Port
Review: If you need an ethernet port, do not buy this model. Would have appreciated it if description made that clear.

Title: Does not work
Review: First and biggest problem is that once sim card inserted and powered up, it goes into eternal reboot. Will not stay powered on, not usable. It also appears to be a used or at least not new device. Description does not say refurbished unit. Will not buy again, returning immediately. Stay away!

Title: 1 Flaw
Review: This is a very good device. The only flaw I see is that it does not have wireless charging capability...which would be very conveinent...

Title: No documentation in box
Review: I bought this hotspot new. There is no paperwork at all in the box. No quick start guide, no registration info, nothing. I’m watching an unboxing video which has all of this in the box. This leads me to believe that this is not a new item or it was returned. The box was sealed when I got it.
