Title: decent screen magnifier for phones
Review: This magnifier is not bad all things considered. I do like the way the 20" screen can slide into a protective sleeve and it folds up after pulling it out. It has the pull tab as well. The mini kick stands on each side to elevate the platform giving a better viewing angle is a nice touch. There's a bezel that you raise to support the phone. It's difficult to view from the side. The screen is also not totally clear. It has a ribbed pattern to it and you've got to watch the screen from the middle straight on to get the full effect. I got this for my dad whose vision is worsening and he is always squinting with his head tilted down. Better ergonomics for sure and he doesn't have to strain when using it. The materials used are not top quality though.

Title: Works Okay
Review: Yes, it worked to magnify, but it looks a little like those big, bulky projection TVs from the 80âs. A little disappointed, but simple to use.

Title: Works better than expected.
Review: So initially I got this because it was oddly different and definitely appealing as I watch alot of things on my phone. It's not very high tech, in fact it's just the opposite as it's plastic with an etched plastic magnification screen. The build is solid but also a bit cheap, however I was impressed with the simplicity of unfolding and enlarging my screen about 4x the size which does surprisingly work well and look good. It does have its limits to portability though and is only really good on flat stable surfaces. Cool idea and fun gadget.

Title: basic magnifierâNot what I was expecting
Review: This screen magnifier is definitely not what I was expecting. It only works well from a specific viewing angleâ anything off-center causes the image to stretch and distort. Even at its best angle (from my POV), the image is quality is still poor, and the screen size is definitely smaller than advertised, making it less effective than expected.

Title: Novelty item, it does what it says but, manage your expectations
Review: This is not a new idea. It's been done way back with small TVs to make them look bigger by using a lens to make it bigger. This concept is not new. Off angle, it does not work very well, you need to be dead on and don't move much to get a big picture of your phone. This one is an all-in-one kit and not needing to build a box, etc. It's a nice package for this kit, it pulls out the lens and it pops up your phone. This works great, if you sit at a certain angle and don't move much, off axis is not viewable very well. If you are watching alone, this very well but, does not work very well if you're expecting more than one to view the screen. Even moving your head around could lose the blown up screen and how clear it looks. It is novelty item, not sure everyone will use this a lot because how it works but, in a certain case, where you stay in the same spot without a lot of movement, this will work fairly well and give a blown-up picture of your phone. Not a bad price for what it is but, manage your expectations....

Title: Not worth it!
Review: I think this item is defective. It has a lot of glare lines going through it and it's very hard to see my cells pictures through the glare.

Title: Works Fine, as Long as You Know What To Expect
Review: I was amazed to see this pop up on my Amazon Vine recommendations page, since I literally was just telling someone about a similar invention idea.Looking at the other reviews it seems as though some folks may have set their expectations way to high... What do you expect from something like this, for it to be virtually identical to the viewing experience of a LCD screen? I went into this with low expectations and was surprisingly impressed. The design is very simple and intuitive to use. There are instructions included (see photo), but I feel as though the design is straightforward enough that most people will have no issues.I can see this being used in a variety of ways, it could be used to show photos to folks with bad eyesight. It could also be used for watching movies away from home. Granted, your movie experience will be a little weird, but if the goal is to simply watch whatever it is on your phone, than this product should suffice.I cannot see how anyone could set this up in such a way where it would appear as a tv screen. But yet again, this is not an issue if you know what to expect...TL;DR Basically a big magnifying glass with a phone holder situated behind it. Works better than I expected!
