Title: Really bad products and customer service
Review: I bought it about three and half months ago, now itâs quite unstable. The WiFi frequently disappears then show up. And I call the customer service number from this Amazon page, itâs and Indian guy, the reply is really bad, he donât try to solve the problem. He just waste customerâs time.

Title: Headache to Activate from Xfinity
Review: It came promptly but had a headache to activate with Xfinity. Their reps chat thru the apps. The first one told me to return it to Amazon, as it is still tethered to an old account at Comcast.Last night another rep said he would try adding to my account and he apprised me he did. Today morning another rep gave me a heads-up that it is still tied to an old account. Frustrated I asked the rep to connect me to the manager, she then activated it under my account and untethered. Still, the internet did not work. After countless hours with advanced tech support, they were able to activate it. Still, the bandwidth comes out to be 68MB download on a 200MB account.I called the ARRIS help desk, and they were nice but told me if the cable is connected and ethernet is connected with the desktop and it is taking me to Xfinity activation, the burden lies at Xfinity to activate, which they ultimately did. It's working at half the bandwidth at 3 different speed tests. Spent around 8 hours . Kindly watch out with service providers if it is connected with old accounts. The seller should be responsible for a return.

Title: Reconditioned - works like new and saved me $
Review: Reconditioned - works like new and saved me $. Have been using for several months. Quality and Signal are great. Speed is as advertised. Directions and setup was as easy as any other router. This unit was like-new, at 1/2 the price. Came in good condition in great packaging. Also works fine with my other wireless appliances (fridge, stove, washer, dryer, camera hub, wireless plugs for lights, laptops, printer). It has a couple of ethernet ports to hookup the camera hub. I no longer spend $10/month renting the same thing from the cable company. I called the cable company and they registered my unit to my cable account at no charge. Has paid for itself already. I recommend it!

Title: This is very hard to install and it didn't work at first.
Review: I could not get this to work. I could not change my password or get WiFi. I had to wait until 10:30 to get customer service because it is Pacific Time and I live on the East Coast. When I called Customer Service at Surfboard, they told me that my product wouldn't work unless I provided proof of purchase because I bought a product that had an expired warranty! This was not stated in the product description. I had to wait almost 12 hours to get a response from customer service and I cannot call them back until 10:30 tomorrow to set up my router/modem. We will see how this turns out. I hope the router works because if it does, it will save me some money.
