Title: Great mop for wood floors.
Review: This is truly a great mop. I have newly installed wood floors and was looking for the best mop for cleaning. Most people I know with wood floors recommended the “S” brand; but for some reason I didn't get a good feeling about buying that brand unless it was the only choice. So I decided to search for something else that had high ratings and found the Mayshine mop. Arrived in 24 hours and assembly was quite easy. My floors looked immediately cleaner after using the mop. It didn’t just push dirt around. The washable cloths appear of great quality. I have not washed them yet, but they’re not flimsy material so I don’t anticipate issues.As far as wet mopping, I actually sprayed a liberal amount of wood floor cleaner on the floors then mopped as I went along and it worked great. No flipping of the head; I could pull backward and forward; and the swivel range is wonderful. In fact, because the mop absorbed so well, I had to continue to spray periodically to wet the floor...just like typical mopping where you reapply moisture. I think the key is not to overly saturate the mop. I couldn’t imagine trying to dunk a mop of this size in a bucket; actually I couldn’t even imagine a “bucket” that would fit a 15” wide mop head, but maybe it’s me 🤔! Because this is not the kind of mop that you could wring out to remove excess water or liquid, I’m not sure that it would ever work for wet mopping in the way rag mops do. When the manufacturer says wet-mopping capabilities, I’m sure that they mean wet the floors, not dunk the mop. If dunking is what you prefer, this may not be the best wet mop for you!The handle is very sturdy and is adjustable in terms of length. It doesn’t seem like one that would easily break, but maybe that depends on the strength used when operating the mop and the amount of liquid used that may make the mop heavier. My experience was that it moves so easily over the wood floors (wet and dry) that I cannot fathom having to use excessive force with or without wet-mopping to operate the mop.For me, I was impressed by this mop enough after one use that I’m writing only my third review ever on Amazon. And trust me, I order A LOT of items. I also thought I’d share a few things that I found in relation to some of the reviews that cited issues that gave me a little concern before I decided to go ahead and order the mop. Those concerns have been alleviated by my personal use and overall experience.Important Tip: you have to unscrew the plastic ring that is attached to the mop head base, place it at the end of the mop pole, and then screw it back on to the mop head base. The instructions may not be as clear for some, so the fast-reader or the person who races through illustrations might think that you just try to push the pole into the base without first removing the plastic ring. That’s not how it’s assembled. The instructions do not clearly say remove the ring from the mop head base and place at bottom of mop pole then screw back to base, but they should. Took me a few minutes to figure out that in order to follow the instructions that ARE written, you have to remove the ring first. I think the one-star reviewer who said the pole would not stay in place until they put a lot of pressure, may have missed the need to unscrew the ring then re-screw after placing on the pole.Give it a try. It’s impressed me thus far!

Title: The perfect mop for LVP flooring.
Review: I’m really impressed with this mop. I use it every day for dry mopping and many times a week as a wet mop. (Spillage and incontinence problems here, I know, TMI.). The mop head is large, so I can do the floors quickly. I was afraid it might be too large for some places, but the 360 swivel means you can mops sideways using the narrow edge.The pads are great. They are easy to put on and take off. They will go in the washing machine, but I also wash them in the sink, wring them out and they dry quickly. The are very absorbent. ( see TMI above). The mop came with 5. I may order 5 more.The only slight issue I’ve had is that you need to learn how to use it. If you try to use it like a regular sponge mop, pushing back and forth, the mop head will flip on the backstroke. Mopping in an S or infinity motion solves that problem, and is more effective, anyway.Cleaning solution used is a plus, too. On the advice of several YouTube videos, I fill a spray bottle with water and and a small amount of Dawn dish soap. Works well, non toxic and essentially free. Some suggested adding a drop of essential oil to give your floors a nice scent. I may try that.

Title: Dudes, its perfect, get it and have happy floors!
Review: Thus far I have only used this for dry dusting the floor, but I found it to be easier to use than a Swiffer. I think the little extra weight adds to the ease of making it glide under and around obstructions with minimal wrist twisting. Its not heavy, just durable-feeling. The washable pads are SO easy to clip on and they stay on without wiggling around or slipping off. I was also impressed with how well the pads wash up and retain their shape and texture. With many of these style of cleaning product the pads dont wash well or retain their shape, so the fact that these MAYSHINE pads do puts them, in my opinion, miles ahead of any competition. It wasnt too hard to build, just needed a bit of oomph to get the handle to stay firmly in the base. Overall, I love this thing. Its solid, it looks like it will last, its easy to use, it has a long handle to aid in cleaning under console tables and such, the pads are fully washable and easy to clip on, the clips are sturdy, and when I showed it to my mom she loved it and wanted one, too. I recommend it and would purchase again.

Title: Mostly awesome. Should make sturdier pole.
Review: Great dry mopping, which is easy as pie. Picks up dust and debris well. Wet mopping takes a little more elbow grease for me. I have LVP floors with a wood grain texture, and I found that I need to press down a bit to really get them clean.My only issue with this mop is that the pole broke on one of the connector pieces today, which is about 4 months after the purchase. It didn’t snap at the screw on joint, but in between where the metal has a seam. That’s why my review is 4 stars. I’m past the return phase, and I don’t see how to contact Mayshine about just replacing one handle extension. I’m bummed, but this mop works well and is such a great price that I’m just going to buy another one. I plan to use the replacement mop, but have extenders on hand from the old mop. Plus I have lots of the cloths, so this way I’ll still have a compatible mop.I love the microfiber cloths. They clean the floor well, launder pretty well (surged seem has come loose on a couple, which doesn’t really matter. Just snip it), and they have stayed soft and absorbent over the few months I’ve had them.I usually use two microfiber cloths in one cleaning session. One is in my wash bucket soaking while the other is on the mop. Then when I feel like the moisture is running out on the cloth on the mop, I swap them out. Changing the cloth is pretty easy, and I prefer switching them out like this to using the same cloth the whole time. I wring them out well, and the floor dries quickly.If anyone cares, a capful of Mrs Myers concentrate in a couple gallons of hot water works great, smells awesome, and doesn’t leave a residue on LVP flooring. Wring your cloths out well so you don’t get water spots when it dries.I like this mop better than the Bona spray mop I used for a couple years. I hope this long review was helpful!

Review: Handle is comfortable. Swiffer/mop pads stay on and won’t cause damage to wall boards etc. because they are larger than the head you attach them to. Easy to attach the pads with the clips. Microfibre pads are super soft and upon first use I am very happy with the amount of dog hairs and dust they pickup. Better than my previous cleaning mop head and clothes.

Review: I really love this! It's not too light which it makes it much easier to clean the floor as it distributes the wight around to all of the surface area the mop covers. Usually when they are too light it takes longer to clean the floor and you have to put more work into cleaning the floor.
