Title: An improved version of a B&D sprayer that's still going strong after 10 years
Review: I bought this 4Gal backpack sprayer in early 2015: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MCZFH0O I've filled it more than 200 times over the years, to spray fungicides and herbicides and insecticides on my lawn, and fertilizers for my garden. And it's still going strong. The only issue was with a relatively weak harness/shoulder strap that eventually broke a month ago. I hacked up some new straps for it but they're not very comfortable.Given my success with the old one, and given that I have three 20V B&D batteries and a wall charger for them already, I decided to buy this new one. It arrived quickly, well packed, and took only a few seconds to assemble (just screw in the wand and spray tip and you're ready to go). The shipped battery was very low (1/4) so I put it into my wall charger and chose another of my 20V B&D batteries to test with. Nice that they're still compatible after 10 years!I filled it up with water to check it out, spraying into my utility sink, and it's fabulous. It has a stronger spray than the older one (even when it was new) and the pattern is very wide and consistent. It's going to work well on the lawn, and cut down on the number of "laps" that I have to walk.And the harness is SO much better then the older one! Nicely padded and a much better attachment system to the tank frame. It's more comfortable on the shoulders/back, and I'm sure it'll last for many years.Good job B&D. (And now I'm going to contact them to see if it might be possible to buy just the harness, that I'd use to refurbish my old faithful unit.)

Title: Excellent battery-powered backpack sprayer
Review: I needed a backpack sprayer to treat some large areas with a herbicide. After reading reviews for this model and competitors, I chose the Black & Decker model. And I have been completely happy with its performance.I've only used it with three gallons of herbicide at a time, mostly because of the weight of the liquid. I found the sprayer harness comfortable and stable to wear. As with any backpack sprayer, the challenge is getting a fully-loaded backpack lifted and situated. I found that lifting it onto my curbside trash bin worked well for that.I used the broad-area spreader attachment, which was perfect for my needs. The sprayer had plenty of power to coat the areas with herbicide. The wand and handle worked well. No leakage and accurate dispersal.It was doubly helpful that the battery for the backpack is interchangeable with the one for my Black & Decker cordless drill. So I can have one battery charging while using the other.The unit was easy to assemble and leak-free at each connection. That's an important consideration when spraying hazardous substances like herbicides.Needless to say, if you're using it for herbicides as I am, you want to use high quality safety gear. Pants, long sleeves, eye goggles, nitrile gloves, and a respirator face mask with filters to block vapors and aerosols.Be sure to prime the pump according to the manual using just water. And test it out with just water for leaks and operating experience.The sprayer is still new, so I can't speak to how well it holds up over time. But for my purposes, it is an ideal product.

Review: Black and Decker has done a great job designing this sprayer, extremely handy to have in your weed killing arsenal. Many many hours of spraying on just one battery. Keep up the great work Black and Decker of great products and innovation and great prices. It also works great putting it between my feet on my zero turn mower for spraying around the farm building site. Thank you

Title: AWESOME, Effective, and Efficient: Easy to use!!!
Review: I just used this sprayer for the first time. I always love Black&Decker product!!! The sprayer is AMAZING and easy to use!!! It spreads the solution at uniform rate with amazing pressure; therefore, I would recommend that you need to get this sprayer!!!Note: Please be patient after you purchase and start using it. If you will use it for the first time after you purchase it, please go to the manual for first time priming. You have to remove the inside filter, spray with garden hose for few minutes (probably 3 times fill in the water and take out). After you spray with garden hose, put the filter in, and start spraying it but give few minutes for the water to come out.

Title: Works great
Review: Definitely works great battery lasted a longtime without need for recharge. I sprayed my pole barn a garage and the walkways driveway all my needs ran it about 2 hours and 14 gallons of liquid with only 1/3 of the battery being used. It’s a little heavy with it completely filled either prop it up about shoulder height to get it on or have a second person a helper get it on your back. After it’s on your back with the straps it’s nice and comfortable and no pumping it.

Title: LOVE IT
Review: I needed to get a non pump sprayer since I have a neck injury that is preventing me from repetitious movement. I can't carry a sprayer right now but I (my husband) put this on the floor of our large ride on mower, hooked the back straps on the steering bars and drove around 7 acres to spray gobs of weeds and thistle. It has a strong, continuous spray and several nozzle choices, which is totally awesome. You can also adjust the trajectory of the spray. The battery is freaking amazing. I had to refill several times and the battery kept a full charge. I did turn it off when I was heading back for a refill but that probably wasn't necessary. There is so much padding that I don't think there will be any issues with comfortability when I'm able to carry it again. I don't have any problems, usually, with carrying 4 gallons and if you do then I'm not sure why you'd purchase such a big tank. I cannot believe I waited for a car wreck to buy this.. Super stupid. This sprayer makes the job much easier. I normally look for off brands with good reviews but I've had so much bad luck with sprayers leaking and breaking that I was tired of having to replace them. So one whole day of use and I'm totally happy with my purchase. It was so easy that I (probably, wink wink) won't avoid waiting so long to do this chore... But even if I do wait, it won't be something I totally dread doing.
