Review: Almost Christmas is not just a great Christmas film with a black cast, it is simply one of the most incredible Christmas films I have seen in recent years.All the cast are incredible, but Mon'ique is just laugh-out-loud hilarious with her truly comedic lines and acting.This may be a Christmas film, but with a film with a black cast...it is also one of the most moving American black-cast films I have seen in recent years.The other moving film I saw... just this year (2017) ... was Denzel Washington's 3rd Directorial film 'Fences'.My mum is a great Danny Glover fan (who is the leading star actor in this film ) so this film was a real treat for her.There are some incredibly moving scenes in this film, that moved us both to tears.A good cry is no bad thing...it certainly clears the head.☺
