He's Hollywood's biggest star. She wouldn't know him from the pizza delivery guy.
I'm a wildlife biologist in a tiny mountain town, not some kind of law-breaking celebrity stalker. At least not on purpose.
It was an accident when I wandered onto the property of one of Hollywood's hottest movie stars. Five minutes ago, I'd never even heard of Flint Hawthorne. I definitely didn't know he lives in Silver Creek.
When I'm detained for trespassing, the last thing I expect is to trade my handcuffs for a designer gown. All I wanted was permission to conduct my research on a remote corner of his estate.
Now I'm walking the red carpet of a Hollywood movie premiere as Flint's (very fake) girlfriend.
At least, the relationship is supposed to be fake. But the way he slips his arm around me, his breath tickling my ear, the chemistry feels like something real.
The trouble is, I'm not really built to handle his fast-paced celebrity life. Most days, I prefer the company of squirrels to people. I should be glad we're only pretending. I'm just not sure my heart got the memo.

Title: He falls in love with her sexy brain
Review: The end of a series is always a little bittersweet, and the Hawthorneâs feel like family once you stat reading their stories, and Flint was one that was kind of an unknown until this book. He was always out on the West Coast in Hollywood being super famous while the rest of the family is on the East Coast living in a small town and on a farm.Getting to see that Flint is a really good guy and down-to-earth while he battles against Hollywood stereotypes and drama was interesting. My favorite thing about Flint is how heâs truly attracted to Audreyâs brain. He finds her intelligence sexy and admirable and he fully supports her in it.Seeing Audrey realize her dreams of not being fully centered around science and squirrels was beautiful. When she opened herself up to fear and love and being a bit more feminine than usual while still maintaining her independence and personality it was wonderful to read. These two are a unique story, and itâs actually pretty cute the title is a play on one section of the book, where Flint actually tells Audrey about the difference between real-life kissing and on-screen kissing. Itâs a beautiful and sexy moment. The other favorite for me was when his co-star removes some of the discomfort from watching an on-screen kiss by giving all the background details. It was so nice to see this stranger protecting Audrey that way. This story wraps up the family so beautifully while introducing us to Audreyâs super smart powerful women as well. Her sisters are some great side characters, and the banter with the Hawthorne men is great as always. (they have the best text threads)Youâll love everything about this story, want to take a vacation to stay in Flintâs house, and want to find yourself some white squirrels.

Title: I want to read this series all over again for the first time
Review: This was such a good good series!!!!!!! I want to read them all over again for the first time!!!!!!! Iâm not honestly sure which one is my favorite because theyâre all such good stories!! And good men!!! I loved seeing a movie star book where the MMC was already grounded in his family and wasnât arrogant or thought too much of himself and then got his priorities straight because of a girl and realizing what he actually wanted. Those are good stories too but I really liked this one for its focus on Flint wanting to settle down and realizing that while he may have had everything he was still missing something and Audrey was it. And how Audrey wanted that person too but didnât want to give up her dreams either. And they found how they fit and complemented each other. I also love loved loved the family aspects and the brothers relationships with each other and the text threads were my favorite!!!!!

Title: EVERYTHING I love in a book
Review: Iâve been eagerly anticipating Flintâs story from the very first Hawthorne brother book and I was NOT disappointed. Although Flint is an uber famous movie star, heâs as down-to-earth as anyoneâs next door neighbor and his first meet with ultra clueless wildlife biologist, Audrey, had me rolling on the floor in fits of laughter. Movie stars, schmovie starsâitâs all about rare squirrels for her. This author does a phenomenal job of creating the ultimate opposites attract fake dating story ever and I had my popcorn out to enjoy the drama and swoon. Seeing the other brothersâ wives and watching them rally around and engage with Audrey was so satisfying, but itâs all the sweetness of Flint that had the butterflies swirling and my heart pounding. Personalize destination shopping trips? Done. âBrothersâ text chat? Hilarious. Deep connections and care? Oh, yes. Sizzling swoon and attraction? Definitely. âGrandâ gesture? Check. This installment was everything I dreamed of and more and it was pure joy to listen to it. I did extra cleaning and weeding in my garden to make up for the time I used to zip through this adorable love story.Content: kissing

Title: Glenn Powell can be my flint
Review: This is a sweet little romcom. Itâs a quick read. I really like how the MMC falls for the MFC and how she falls for him. It does drag and kind of build so you get the background for both characters, but then you hit the end and bam you donât know what hit you! For me it resonated and I feel like it will resonate a lot with women who are shy or who have had a hard time when growing up because theyâre different and people donât accept that theyâre different and it doesnât matter how different or what way you are, but I want a Flint!

Title: A Sweet and charming romance
Review: I rarely read a romance as sweet and simple as this and love it, but this is definitely one of those times.I simply adored Audrey and Flint and felt that their whirlwind romance was realistic and earned.I love the dynamic between family members, the texting sequences were so real I could almost drag them from my own conversations with family members.I have not read the other novels in this series but this did just fine as a standalone.I do feel like the end was a bit underwhelming, but it was more realistic than other endings that could have been chosen. So I understand the choice, but it is the only thing holding this back from 5 stars for me.Overall I really liked this and would definitely read another Jenny Proctor novel given the chance.

Title: Audrey and Flint
Review: Pretty cute story. Audrey loves biology and animals more than people. In the beginning, she claims she has no social skills, but I don't really see any evidence of that in the rest of the book.Flint has ALL the social skills. Plus, he's a Hawthorne, which means he's a really good guy.

Review: I was wondering what kind of girl Flint would fall for as I read the other books. Audrey is amazing and this story did not disappoint. I really loved the epilogue where they look forward to life's challenges together, knowing their love is enough. So sweet!

Review: ðBook Reviewðð¿ï¸ð¿How to Kiss a Movie Star by Jenny Proctorð¿ð¿ï¸This book deserves all the stars!I had a feeling when I was reading the earlier books in this series that it would be my favourite one and I was not disappointed. This book focuses on Flint, the famous movie star brother and Audrey, a slightly introverted scientist who would rather get caught trespassing for trying to sneak a look at squirrels than for a sight of Flint. Some of my favourite things:ð¿Camouflage- you never know what or whoâs abs you might see ð;ð¿ï¸ All the texting- I honestly donât know which text conversations I enjoyed more, those between our MCs, those between Flint and his brothers or when the wives steal their husbands phones to help Flint;ð¿He falls first;ð¿ï¸ All the Hawthorne boys together; This book was an effortless read, I started it and when I next looked at my progress I was at 53% and was so disappointed because I was over halfway and I just wanted this book to keep going.Iâm definitely having a Hawthorne boys hangover but Iâm just keeping my eye out for what Jenny writes next.ð Rating: âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸ Fave quote: ââSheâs face to face with Flint Hawthorne, and she notices the house,ââ Summer says dryly.âThis gave me Pride and Prejudice feels and I just love how Audrey is a little clueless to who Flint is.This book is available on KU so put on your favourite pjs, pop on a face mask (or 2), get a cuppa (or a wine ð) and some popcorn and settle in for a great book, you can thank me later!
