Title: I wish I could give it more stars!!!
Review: Iâve just about decided that Iâm never going to buy any accessory unless itâs from Anker, if possible. Their products just seem to work for me and last long enough. I tried four HDMI splitters from three different brandsâtwo cheap ones didnât work at all. I figured I needed to spend more, so I bought a model that sort of worked. However, the power adapter for it didnât work at all, so I had to use my own. Since the picture quality was good and it was easy to use, I decided to upgrade to a higher-end model because I needed one more HDMI slot.Unfortunately, that one didnât work with my soundbar because it controlled the ARC, and my TV didnât like that. I even called their tech support, which was useless and gave me completely wrong advice. I had to do my own research online to figure out what was going wrong and realized that, even though they told me the unit I bought would work with ARC, it absolutely couldnât, given how my TV controlled it. I wasted a ridiculous amount of time on that. Both units were from Monoprice.I was about to give up and settle for the three-slot Monoprice model when I noticed this Anker splitter for cheap and remembered having good luck with their products in the past. It was a third of the price, so I bought it, hooked everything up, and Iâll be damnedâit worked perfectly. Setup was much easier, and the remote uses standard batteries instead of those annoying flat ones. Switching is quick, and the picture looks great. I still canât believe I spent so much on the other brands. At least I can return them.If youâve been struggling to find an HDMI switch that works, this one is a dream. Iâll try to post a follow-up after some time has passed to see if it holds up, but so far, so good.

Title: Works well, stupid simple install
Review: What impressed me is that the device doesn't need an extra power cable, it is smart enough to know the difference between the monitors and five that feedback to the PC. This allows seamless switching after first time setup. Even allowing different frame rates and resolutions. Pretty cool tech. Get some tape and it's sturdy very enjoyable clicking. The switch process is so stable.

Title: Another Great Device Made By Anker!
Review: We own many different devices made by Anker, including this little HDMI switch box, and they all work very well. When our 12 year old Pioneer AV receiver located in the master bedroom died, I (ok the wife actually...lol) decided that we didn't want to spend the nearly $700 (for now anyway) to replace it with the latest equivalent Pioneer or Denon AV receiver, as we already have a great home theater setup in the living room. Instead, we purchased this 2 into 1 Anker HDMI switch box, and a Fosi 2.1 channel mini amplifier, to replace the Pioneer AV receiver. This combination works very well together for our audio and video needs in the master bedroom now. Albeit, we no longer have ARC/eARC capability in order to control everything, but such is life. This Anker HDMI switch box has a Roku Ultra and a Sony Blu-Ray player connected to the two HDMI inputs, and the single HDMI output is connected to a 40 inch Sony LED TV. Everything is connected with three, 3 foot long Silkland HDMI 2.1/w Ethernet cables. This combination of devices work flawlessly together, and the Anker HDMI switch box switches back and forth between the Roku and Blu-Ray player with no issues at all.The audio is sent from the Sony TV to the Fosi 2.1 channel amplifier via the 3.5 mm audio-out port on the TV. The video and sound both work perfectly, transmitted first through this Anker HDMI switch box, from the Roku and Blu-Ray player to the TV.This Anker HDMI switch box is very small in size, and made of plastic. It is 2-3/16 inches by 2-3/16 inches square, and 1/2 an inch tall. This Anker HDMI switch box takes up no space at all. It also changes input devices with a push of the single button centered on top of the box. There are also 2 faint (not blindingly bright) blue LED lights on top that indicate which HDMI channel the device is currently operating on. The Anker HDMI switch box requires no external power supply, and it runs very cool while operating. Also, while Anker states that this HDMI switch box will transmit 4k @ 60hz video resolution, I cannot verify this as our Sony TV is only capable of 1080p at 120hz (the Roku Ultra is 4k @ 60hz capable, however). In any case, the Anker HDMI switch box does transmit the 1080p resolution flawlessly. I can however verify that this Anker HDMI switch box will transmit both basic 5.1 Dolby and DTS surround sound audio, but most likely won't transmit the higher bandwidth Dolby Atmos or DTS-X 7.2.2 surround sound audio specifications.Overall, I am very impressed with this Anker HDMI switch box. It is small, works very well, and does not require external power to function. However, if the power is turned off to all connected devices, this Anker HDMI switch box will default back to the #1 HDMI input channel, so just make sure that the most often used input device is on that channel. I highly recommend this inexpensive Anker HDMI switch box for anyone that has two HDMI devices, and limited HDMI ports on their TV/monitor (or doesn't want multiple HDMI cables running to the TV), and doesn't want to shell out hundreds of dollars for a home theater AV receiver. Pick up one of these great Anker HDMI switch boxes today!

Title: Good but not perfect
Review: Quality seems great like youâd expect from Anker. Itâs easy to use and the remote works great. But it wouldâve been better if the remote wasnât required, if the numbers on the front of the switch also functioned as buttons.

Title: Nice compact, clean design
Review: It has a nice compact, clean design, clear indicator light, easy to press button, quick switching, solid construction, and works well. I'd buy it again.Plus, to be honest, I'm gradually becoming a fan of Anker products. I've bought quite a few things from them and never had a problem (so far). When I bought mine ,it was a bit on the high side, price-wise, but not terrible. I'd keep an eye out for sales. For instance, as I write this review, its about 30% less than what I paid for it...so a much better deal.Full transparency, I have noticed an occasional random video glitch, but they're extremely infrequent. Its not something that bothers me and not something to worry about. Though, technically not perfect, so that's why I docked a star 🙂

Review: The device itself is good. But it's unpowered, so 4K@60Hz is not guaranteed. The power comes from the HDMI cable, and it's not entirely sufficient. It works fine with 1080p at 60 Hz, but drops the signal with 4K at 60 Hz, depending on your setup. It may work at 4K@60hz if you use very short cables that are also high quality. The guide suggest max 3.3 feet (1m) for this resolution, I think. My cable is around 1.5m, so maybe that's the reason. In any case, I recommend getting a switch with separate power supply (USB) if you want [email protected] other thing is - this device does not include an output HDMI cable, so you need to buy that separately yourself. I guess pretty much anyone buying this switch also needs an additional cable, so it would be convenient if it's offered as a package. No other complaints. It works fine and looks good.
