Title: Be the one offering help, not asking for it!
Review: Some people may be put off by the amount of tools on this multitool, and consequently, the weight. But I have used most of the tools on here, and the added security is worth the little bit of extra weight and bulk. Don't be one of those riders who carries the minimal amount of tools (or no tools and tubes, like some), then has to ask around when something goes wrong. And if you ride enough, things WILL go wrong. If you ride in the rain, this will rust a bit. But that is because the steel this is made from is more durable than stainless steel. My tool has been wet a lot, but only has minimal surface rust.As other reviewers have mentioned, the chain tool is a little tricky to use, but I have used it on multiple occasions, both to take out links and join sections together, with great success. It just takes a bit more patience than a standard shop chain tool.I would say this tool is the perfect multitool (along with some tire levers, a pump, and a patch kit) to get you out of any minor, and most major, mechanical mishaps on a bike. A definite necessity at a great price!

Title: A great set of tools!
Review: I am fairly new to road cycling, competing in a couple of events every year.I had a basic tool in my little under the seat pack, which was great for helping to change a flat tire. But I did not have anything to tighten up my clips on my shoes one time last year, when I was way out in the middle of no where.Fortunatly for me, another biker came by and helped. He had a very similar tool that he pulled out of his pack. He had the right settings for my clips, and I was riding away in a few minutes.I resolved that would never happene again to me.I have been doing research on a small toolset that I can take where ever I go, and this had great ratings. It is a nice, tight set, that folds up very nicely all together. The clip wrenches are on the sides, and even though they are a bit clunky to use, it does get the job done.It is now in my seat pack, and I will be ready for whatever the road throws at me this year!

Title: Well made multi-tool.
Review: I purchased this tool for my new mountain bike. I was going to get the 19-function tool, but they were out of stock, and the only difference was another flat blade and phillips screwdriver. I don't think that I'll miss the other 2 tools. The tool has a feel of quality - the attachments have a nice finish and everything works as intended. It will be a little tricky to use the 8mm & 10mm crescent wrenches (the stepped notch in the side of the chain tool), but I don't think that I have any hex-head bolts on my bike - all fasteners are allen head.By no means should this be the only tool that you own. It's for emergencies, and will work well for occasional use. But I have no doubt that this will last, and won't leave me stranded in time of need. It's also relatively light in weight for a big hunk of metal.

Title: just what I need!!
Review: This is a great multi tool for a starter mountain biker because it has all the necessary tools to work on a bike including a chain tool and spoke wrenches. This is a good product and I suggest it to every biker out there new or old!

Title: Great quality and styling
Review: This is a beautifully made multi-tool as it should be for the price but I'm not sure if it's any more functional than my other one which was much cheaper. So far I have only used it for minor screw tightening. I haven't used the chain tool yet nor the spoke wrenches. The open end 8mm & 10mm wrenches are cute and clever but I have my doubts about their functionality. There is a thick black rubber band to hold everything folded up closed. I like the concept, so long as I manage not to lose it. With the rubber band on, the tool is very smooth & not likely to snag stuff in your underseat bag or pocket.Note to Campagnolo-equipped bike owners - there is no 5.5mm Allen key on this tool.Like all folding multi-tools, the bolts holding the whole thing together will loosen with time and you'll need a seperate 4mm Allen key to tighten them. I can use my cheap multi-tool for that!

Title: Good tool.
Review: So I've owned this for many years. I have been patiently waiting to review this till after I've had the opportunity to put it to a real test. I guess the regular maintenance I perform on my bikes really pays off. I've never had to use this on a ride. NEVER. But I have ridden with riders that needed to borrow it to service their bikes on a ride. It's been a solid tool and everyone that has used it has asked me where they can get one. Due to the length of time it's been since I purchased this, I don't know what the competing brands are anymore. I couldn't tell you if this is the most current version, etc. I can tell you this old tool has worked well for several people. I never leave it behind.
