Title: Great collection of OLD country music
Review: I enjoy almost every song in this three CD collection. I has so many of the old country hits that the radio stations just don't play anymore. I've given up on the NEW country and always return to old country classics that made country music great.

Review: If you are a country fan - not a NEW country fan, necessarily, but a true COUNTRY fan - you can't miss with this collection.It has so many of my favorites. There's a few duds, but for the price - and the amount of music on here - a few misses can be allowed.It's a 3 disc collection with mostly older country - Johnny Cash, Johnny Paycheck, Willie Nelson, Marty Robbins, Jimmy Dean, Dolly Parton, Lynn Anderson, Flatt & Scruggs, Roger Miller, Charlie Daniels Band, Roy Orbison, Tanya Tucker, George Jones, Larry Gatlin, Mickey Gilley, David Allan Coe, Charlie Rich, Asleep at the Wheel, Vern Gosdin.But it also has some 80's and 90's country - Rosanne Cash, Shennandoah, Ricochet, Ty Herndon, Joe Diffie, Wade Hayes, Doug Stone, Collin Raye, the Kinleys.But all in all I would say to buy this simply because to get all of these songs - most of which I have great memories of singing with my family when I was a kid - you'd spend a ton of money. In this way, you get a lot of GREAT old country tunes and some of the best of the 80's and 90's country too.It doesn't have Reba or Wynonna or Faith Hill or Tim McGraw. But for anyone claiming to be a "Country" fan - you HAVE to have this. Of course if you're a 13 year old country fan - you probably won't want this. Review: I bought it for my dad and for the first time........I wonder about my brain sometimes.......he loves it! I never really paid that much attention to what he was into for music! I saw this and automatically the thought came to me mind that my dad should like this! Well turns out that I should listen to that little voice more often! I like rock and a 'little' bit of country, current stuff anyways, so I would buy dad, on occasion, a 60's rock CD. Never heard anything until I got him this one! All this time eh??? I am 56! It was nice to get him something that he really likes for once! Ha ha! I love my dad and when I can make him happy that is the greatest for me! See ya!!

Review: My mother resides in a care home and each time we spoke she seemed to be slipping away - wanting to go be with Dad (he left us 5 years ago )since us kids set her up with her music - has returned to her happy self - she keeps telling me how "her" music has given her back her life - she will be 90 this May - noticed a big change in her since she has been able to listen to the music my father and her favored and we grew up on - my mothers happiness is priceless - thank you
