Title: Lots Of Potential
Review: I love national anthems, and think a cd of them would've been great. However, 90% of the recordings sound like they were recorded on someone's answering machine. Also, about 85% of the albums start with a booming hashy drumroll that sounds extremely tinny.

Title: Name That Tune!
Review: It has Cold War Era anthems! fitting nicely into our TOK studies but l didn't realize l was ordering a dated version of national anthems. l require the kids to hear the anthem and then identify the country. We have learned 4 anthems in a short time and over the course of the school year l hope we can learn them all.

Title: Badly distorted sound.
Review: This collection of national anthems was very disappointing in two respects. While the performances were suitable, the recorded sound was badly distorted, as if someone had made the digital conversion while the volume was set too high. The second point was that of those anthems that I listened to, each was proceeded by a drum-roll, something completely unnecessary and not part of the actual anthem. I apologize for this negative review, but I cannot really recommend this to anyone interested in hearing well-recorded anthems.

Review: This ranks as the worst value for money that I have ever spent on a CD.(1) The title of the CD is "National Anthems of the World", there are 19 anthems on this CD, however the last time I counted the countries of the world there were more than 19.(2) I come from a little place called Ireland, I can understand that most people never heard of it as it is variously called Republic of Ireland, Eire, Southern Ireland, The Old Country etc, the correct name is simply Ireland.(3) Ireland has its own national anthem but alas it is not on the CD(4) I am familiar with some of the 19 national anthems on the CD but again here I feel let down as only a little bit of each anthem is played on the CD, it is similiar to the bit of an anthem played when the winning athletes have received their medals and the anthem of the first placed athlete is played at the Olympic games or such similiar events.(5)The title of this CD should be changed to "Incomplete National Anthems from some of the countries of the world".Finally, I would be grateful if someone could recommend to me a CD or CD set with the "National Anthems of the World"
