Title: Hours spent on this yay
Review: Kids spent hours digging out the Dinoâs. Bit of a mess maker and somewhat sharp parts but great for a five year old and older.

Title: Fun party or learning activity
Review: I got these for a birthday party for 8 year olds, and a learning activity for 9-10 year olds, and they were a hit!The eggs are a decent size, and come individually shrink wrapped. There are lots of little brushes/picks, as well. I would suggest doing this activity outside, if possible, or using a lot of plastic table coverings. The material is kind of like a hard sidewalk chalk. Depending on the kid, it can take 15-50 minutes to open up an egg. Some kids utilized buckets of water to soften up the egg to get it to open faster, while others took their time with the brush. One egg did not have a dinosaur inside, but we had extras, so it was ok. I would be aware of that in case you needed every single egg for your purposes. I deducted one star for that.My three year old also started working on one but lost interest before finishing, so an older sibling helped him finish it off. So depending on the kid, 3 might be too young to enjoy the whole experience. The little dinosaurs are nice enough- there is some detail in the painting, moreso than cheaper toys. Theyâre nothing fancy, but itâs fun that theyâre all different and you can be surprised which one you get. The booklet that tells you about the different dinosaurs is informative and interesting!Iâd definitely recommend this kit!

Title: Awesome gift
Review: Christmas present for my little granddaughter. I donât think at this point sheâll be a digging and dinosaurs up but she was super excited when she got these along w some National Geographic realistic bugs! She is super scared of bugs and she has everything so I thought what better way to get her used to bugs and not be so terrified and she has had a ball with them and with the eggs, LOL she was digging her little heart out and finally she was just looked at her mama and said you do it! I canât really blame her it wasnât quite age-appropriate because sheâs just 4 but she really tried so mom and dad took turns and I think they wasnât too motivated either, LOL. It takes dedication so Iâm thinking her other granny is doing these with her because her other granny is super good at helping her a learn. I would highly recommend this to anyone, heck even adults. Excellent seller, excellent product, The shipping was expedient and I have no complaints She has the love of discovery so I try to engage her mind. Boys especially would love these I think. Awesome gift!

Title: Fabulous Gift for Grandson
Review: I gave my four year old grandson some geodes at Christmas that he had a great time smashing open. I knew my daughter didn't want him to have a bunch of candy at Easter so I sent these dinosaur eggs to use for an egg hunt. My grandson absolutely LOVED them! Instead of soaking them, they gave him a hammer to break the clay and then he picked away at the broken eggs until he got to the dinosaurs. If you try the hammer route be sure your child wears safety glasses. My daughter says we need to make this a yearly thing.

Review: This was so much fun for my kids. They are obsessed with dinosaurs and the size of these eggs were perfect to keep them busy. There are a variety of dinosaurs to be found. If you want a gift that will keep your kids busy then this is it.It can take a while to dig the fossils up but if you add water to your digging it speeds up the process. It can get messy! Which makes it more fun for the kids.

Review: I bought it for my son summer activity, and he can only dig one egg a day. We start today and what a shame that the egg is empty! No dinosaur inside. The package and plastic seal was still intact so I believe it's a failed product. My son was very upset.
