Title: This neck fan really works!
Review: I am very sensitive to heat and bought this neck fan before a trip to Bali in July. Having been there twice before, I was dreading the heat and humidity. This fan made all the difference in terms of me being able to enjoy myself.First, let me be clear -- this fan will NOT make 90 feel like 68. It's not like wearing a room air conditioner around your neck. But it WILL keep you reasonably comfortable in weather that would make you melt otherwise. On the high speed, the air will help cool your face and keep sweat from pouring into your eyes.One of the chief complaints about neck fans is that they're loud and prevent you hearing conversations. I used this fan every day on high speed and never found the sound distracted or prevented me from participating in conversations.Even on high speed, the battery lasts a long time and charges quickly. The fan is lightweight and easy to wear for long periods, yet it doesn't seem flimsy or cheap. I wasn't particularly gentle with it, and yet after 5 weeks of daily use it wasn't scratched or cracked. It folds up well and was easy to fit in whatever purse of backpack I have.As a longtime Burner, I can promise you I'll be taking it to Burning Man next year!

Title: Better than I thought, but....
Review: Ok first things first. IT WORKS!! Does exactly what you would expect. keeps you decently cooled off while doing yard work which is what I really wanted it for. Speed controls are easy to reach and change settings. It takes me about two hours to weed eat and mow with a riding mower. Half the back is full sun and at the height of summer I roast!! So bought this to beat the heat this year. On full blast (high) it lasted great until about the last ten mi9nutes or so, I could feel the fans bog down. The unit fit well enough around my neck but does feel a bit bulky, but that was fine by me. I wear earplugs while doing yard work but can see where some might complain about it being a little loud, but I really didn't notice. All in all it is a good buy and would work for many scenarios - running, walking, workouts, yard work, etc. and yeah I would recommend it.

Title: It’s a neck fan
Review: It’s a neck fan and does what a neck fan does. It’s definitely NOT an air conditioner… there is nothing to COOL the air going through other than the basic science of forced flow. So on a hot day, it blows hot air.For this born and raised northerner, it’s great for wearing around the house doing chores here in TX when you let the house get up to 78…When sitting outside in 90s/100s… It’s almost worse having hot air blown in your face, lol.I appreciate that the front sections swivel in about 20 degrees at least, and can fold inward as well.The rear fans are hardly noticeable. They blow STRAIGHT, not at an angle toward your neck, and the fans in the rear aren’t as strong. Might be a better idea to change them to blow down, or at an angle to your neck.You can turn off the rear fans while keeping the front running. I usually do this since the rear seem ineffective unless your sitting and tilt and it helps the unit last longer.The unit rests fully and directly on your neck, so it doesn’t leave a gap for airflow. I start sweating under the band where it rests on my neck.Comes with a 100% “happy” guarantee, a nice soft/durable storage bag, looks nice, and feels of decent quality. I’ve not checked the run time, but it’s definitely a few hours. I’ve put a number of hours on the unit over the last few months and it’s performed well.I like to run it on high, but it is a bit noisy then. Not overly so, but enough that I like to have some headphones on to drown it out.I also appreciate that it’s rechargeable and I don’t need to keep buying batteries. Big plus for me.My wife bought it for me for Father’s Day (June 16th), so it’s been just under 5 months now before writing this review.All in all, I’m satisfied with it.

Title: Not that effective
Review: I live in Florida. I bought this to use while I mow the lawn. It blows air just fine, but it's not very effective. If it's 90 degrees outside with 90% humidity. it's just going to blow 90 degree air on your with 90% humidity. So it didn't cool me down at all. It just blows a lot of warm air around my face and neck. The only way i believe this device would be effective is if if blew refrigerated/cooled air. Then it may give some relief. So if you are going to use this when working outdoors in hot weather to try and get some relief, save your money.

Review: Unfortunately, I have to return this neck fan despite several positives. Project Farm said on the highest setting that the battery life was over 2 hours. However, my unit didn't make it past an hour at the highest setting. I love several things this neck fan offers, such as how it can fold and swivel. Also, this unit pushes the most volume of air compared to other neck fans I've experienced. However, all these great features are muted when the battery life is extremely poor.
