Title: Great alternative to buying Pods weekly
Review: I typically don't review items, but after over a month of "testing" the product I felt motivated to review based on my experience and to help those looking for an alternative to buying PODS from Nespresso weekly/monthly, especially in light of everything else going on.Overall review: Great product, works well if you follow instructions and take care of the Pods you are reusing.Pros:* Inexpensive* Choose your favorite "flavor" of expresso to reuse* Easy to setup / refill once you know the steps* Can re-use pods multiple times* Kit will work and only need to buy aluminum foil seals when you run out (after 100 refills)Cons:* Eventually (after 100 refills) you have to buy new Aluminum Foil Seals* You have to have usable Nespresso Vertuo pods before you can start (at least 1)* Not going to be Nespresso quality* If you are not careful can be a little messyOverall the product works well for those looking for an inexpensive alternative to buying Vertuo pods at $1.10 per pod. If you buy this kit at $25 (or less) you get 100 refills and if your coffee cost $20 your actual cost per pod is closer to $0.45 per cup vs. $1.10. This is good savings if you are watching the budget and the costs go down over time if you are only paying for new Foil Seals. Some advice:* For those that complained about the pods sticking. This can be resolved if you do one of the following: 1) Take the pod out immediately after it is finished and don't let it sit in there afterward or 2) use a spoon or something to release it. It sticks because the heat and glue over time bind slightly, but this does not mess up your machine. * It is important to SEAL the pods with the bottom of the brush like instructions say to get a tight seal or you will have spilled coffee. Seal it VERY WELL by pressing it down after...again on the instructions* USE ESPRESSO GRIND, not coffee (even if doing a larger pour). The machine is designed for espresso grind not coffee grind* Don't damage or poke pods after you use them. A few small dents don't matter but large dents don't workI have re-used one pod 5+ times with no issues and this review is a month after I started using it. So have had success with reusing about 15 pods each one at least twice, so I can confirm that this product works well if used as instructed.

Title: Good foil lids
Review: I like this wooden base, and the scoop, and the brush, and the foils. I also bought the metal tamper. It fits perfectly and nicely tamps the grounds flat. I use a plastic funnel from another brand, and this does a great job of directing the grounds into the pod instead of all over the counter.Recap is the other set up I bought with the clear plastic base and funnel top (and silicon caps and paper filters). I use the plastic funnel top of the Recap with the wooden base. I find that the wooden base is easier to use for aligning the foil and burnishing it down. Iâm glad I bought both sets.In the mornings, I usually make my first cup using the paper filter and silicon cap. As Iâm drinking that first cup, I fill the empty pods from the day before. For storage, I prefer the foil. Initially I had some imbalanced pods with the silicon caps, so I stuck with foil until I got a feel for how full to load the pods, and what the grind size should be.I have not had to trim my foil. Once I get it centered well and pressed in place, I simply fold the tab under so that the edge is uniform around the pod. Then I burnish the foil edge smooth, wrapping it around the rim.Iâve had very good luck right off the bat. It doesnât take long to make up 4 or 5 pods. I believe the plastic funnel from Recap has expedited this process.Being a decaf drinker, I was concerned about finding enough decaf options. Iâm lucky Iâm in Kansas City. We have The Roasterie who makes a wonderful decaf espresso, as well as decaf Christopher Elbow chocolate coffee. These are fantastic in the Nespresso machine. (Roasterie has a website and they ship.) I also found New England Coffee online who offers fine grinds on decaf French Vanilla, Decaf Hazelnut, and a medium roast Vienna. Iâm very happy with all the choices I have now.

Title: Easy to use
Review: Very easy to use. Sometimes when I donât stick the edges all the way down they get stuck in my machine, but not a big deal to me.
Customers say
Customers find the coffee filter easy to use and a great investment. They mention it works well with the Capmesso refill system and the Nespresso machine. The instructions are clear, and the product is well-crafted. Many appreciate that it saves money and makes refilling pods easy. However, some customers have experienced water leakage. Opinions differ on how easy it is to remove.
