Title: Good book kind of boring
Review: This is a nonfiction book about exactly what the name states. NFL Heroes The 100 Greatest Players of All Time by George Jonhson and Allan Maki is a very in-depth read that is very interesting. The book consists of well, the “quote on quote” 100 greatest players of all time. For every player, their statistics, facts, and background are always stated. The book also talks about players' lifetimes, schools, and what they've accomplished. I really enjoyed the top 10 players section where the authors go beyond the 100 players and talk about the 10 greatest players of all time. I did find a downside to this book though. When it comes to ranking the top 100 I feel like it has to be opinion based and that shows in this story. Many players in this book do not deserve to be there but are still talked about as if they are the best. I also feel that this book could be updated every couple of years to keep players fresh as their years go on. I found myself digging deep to stay focused on this story. Each page has lots of writing and the better players have a few pages of writing. It is definitely in my opinion an exhausting book to read and I found myself looking at their pictures and stats and then reading about them. Onside of these things I really did like the book and after analyzing it I do think some of what pertains is very good material. I even talked about it with some of my friends and had good debates and chats about who belonged in the book and who should be added. I think any avid sports fan would like this book especially if you want to learn more about the game of football's best players. The slower pace of this book makes it a good book to relax and read. It would also be good for readers who enjoy looking at visuals. Every player has a picture and it even has many extras added. To come to a consensus I believe that this would be a good read for any sports fan or any newcomer to the football world that is looking for a new book.

Title: A Poor Review of One Hundred Years
Review: First of all, the book's subtitle is incorrect; it should read "the greatest players of the Super Bowl Era." Of the one hundred players discussed, just one (Night Train Lane) did not play as late as 1966. Apparently the writers never heard of Bronco Nagurski, nor Don Hudson. Sammy Baugh is mentioned, but is not considered one of the greats. Any list of truly "All Time" greats has to have at least a dozen players who played before 1950; there are several more who retired before 1966. The second issue is that of the players listed, more than a third are currently playing. A handful, yes, (Tom Brady, Drew Brees), but Jared Goff? Todd Gurley? At the very least, we need to wait and see. There is no bibliography with this book, making it very unclear how the authors did their research. At a guess, they did not consult much on the early history of the NFL. There is no explanation of the criteria employed to make the selections; perhaps there was nothing more than "players we like." Or "heard of." This is a disappointingly shoddy effort

Title: Innaccurate
Review: Stopped reading at page 139 due to too many errors. Page 119 mentions Peyton Manning's brothers as Eli and Conner (should be Cooper); page 125 list Warren Moon making the 1989 all-rookie team (his rookie season was '84, the '89 rookie QB was Aikman), and page 139 has the Packers winning the Super Bowl in 2015 over the Steelers (that was in 2010). Who knows how many errors I did not notice. Don't waste your time.

Title: Great Book more players and better rankings
Review: The book I read was NFL Heroes: The Top 100 Greatest Players of All Time by George Johnson. I really did like the book because I grew up watching the NFL and I still do. But there were a lot of major flaws in this book. Some players who weren’t better than others were ranked higher, and some players who were in the league for like 2-3 years were ranked higher than some of the all time greats. I like how they included basically every all time great such as: Tom Brady, Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, Jerry Rice, and Lawrence Taylor. But however they included some players that won’t even be top 100 someday such as: Deshaun Watson, Kevin Byard, and Harrison Smith. I thought the book was very interesting because George Johnson would go to include the obvious greats and then mix in some random players, and maybe leave the readers mad and heated. However I feel like there were a lot of players who were not included such as: Darrelle Revis, Champ Bailey, and Andre Reed all of those guys are Hall Of Fame Legends. I really enjoyed the way the author wrote this book because it’s almost like it was a climax style of writing. He would put a good player on a page, a very good player on the second page, and then a great player, and the the best player. I thought it was sort of fun. My favorite part of the book was when I saw Dan Marino and a lot of the dolphins all time greats. I’m a dolphins fan and I have been for 2 years now and I love every player from them but however, Dan Marino is my all time favorite player and he defines why and how I started liking the dolphins. One part of the book that I didn’t like was the Kevin Byard (A Rookie at the time) was ranked over the all time single season leading rusher, all pro, and a hall of famer Eric Dickerson. I really liked this book as an NFL fan so I would strongly recommend this book to NFL fans and to people who are willing to see the wrong and going to try and argue it.

Review: Libro ben fatto.
