Title: INCREDIBLE Bluetooth Earbuds at a GREAT Price!
Review: Unsurprisingly, Anker has done it again. These Bluetooth earbuds are absolutely incredible. I own over 30 Anker/Soundcore products and I swear by them. Amongst these products are two (well used) pairs of Soundcore Life P3’s. I love them because of the sound quality, volume level, size, and battery life. While browsing anker’s products, I happened upon these Soundcore Life P40i Bluetooth earbuds and I was immediately interested. Knowing the great quality of all of my previously purchased Anker products and, considering these P40i’s were on sale, I figured I couldn’t go wrong. Boy was I correct. These earbuds are amazing. Unlike other brands of earbuds I’ve tried, these things get loud; not loud to the point that you’ll hurt your ears or be unable to withstand it, but loud enough that you won’t be wishing you could turn them up more. The smart noise cancellation feature is really neat. I’m in construction so the noise levels vary greatly from day to day. The smart noise cancellation keeps up by changing the type of ANC. It’s really cool. Another feature I like and one that differs from the Life P3’s is the small little nub located on the earbuds’ “touch-control” zone. It’s very convenient. In addition, there’s an audible beep when you successfully tap for touch control which has absolutely zero delay. This is great to me because it confirms whether or not you actually touched the earbud. I posted a few side by side photos of these Soundcore P40i’s and one pair of my Soundcore Life P3’s because I wanted to know the size difference in the earbuds and the case and couldn’t find any reviews mentioning it or information elsewhere mentioning it. In case anyone is interested, the P40i’s case is a little bit smaller and the earbuds’ themselves are slightly shorter. It’s great because the P40i’s are EVEN MORE compact. The battery life of these is the best; bar none. 10h per earbud per charge. I have yet to hear the “battery low” alert. The addition of the phone stand clip within the case is ingenious and a new feature that I love. I watch lots of movies and tv shows on my phone. Now, rather than holding my phone, I can put it in the P40i’s case in front of me. It’s a small feature but works wonders for my use. Lastly, the sound quality of these earbuds is insane. There are enough preset EQ options to make everybody happy but it doesn’t stop there. You can go through the soundcore app to do a hearing test and create an EQ catered to your specific level of hearing. In addition, once you’ve completed the hearing IQ, you can tweak your custom EQ setting even further by adding a preset EQ on top of it, or manually altering it yourself. I’d by 10 pairs of these if I could. For anyone out there that’s even considering these earbuds as an option, just buy them already. You will NOT be disappointed. That’s a guarantee. Great job Anker/Soundcore!

Title: VERY impressive at this price point
Review: I bought these to replace a set of Lypertek headphones that I lost on a recent trip. I also regularly use Bose Quietcomfort Ultra earbuds, so I'll compare these to both of those.First, these blow the Lypertek headphones away. I was immediately impressed with the active noise reduction for headphones at this price point. Especially when you consider that these have such an impressive advertised battery life (~12 hours / 60 with case recharging). The fit was comfortable for me out of the box, but it did include multiple eartips to change the size of the eartip. The sound is crisp and clear and the bass is also impressive for this price point. Phone calls are clear and I was told that it's impossible to tell I was using earbuds from the other end.Comparing these directly to the Bose isn't really fair in certain aspects. For example, the ANR in the Bose is incredible, it's the specific reason I bought them to be able to drown out all noise. I did compare them back-to-back in the same environment and this confirmed for me that Bose has some of the best ANR out there. However, I was again EXTEMELY impressed with the ANR that comes in the Soundcore earbuds. While not on par with the Bose, I think they punch way above their weight class considering the price is less than a quarter of the price of the Bose. If you don't need or want the absolute best ANR then these are probably a better purchase for you. Specifically, one downside of the Bose is that the eartips are designed to fit TIGHT into your ear. This means they can get quite uncomfortable after several hours of use. The Soundcore are much more comfortable over long time periods AND they have the battery life to back it up. I thought phone calls were better using the Soundcore as well because the Bose ANR has a tendency to make me think I'm talking louder than I am. Music sound quality was slightly better on the Bose, especially the bass, but that's to be expected as well.Overall, these are a really impressive set of earbuds and I would highly recommend.

Review: I spent a good deal of time looking at wireless earbuds with noise cancellation, and these really stood out to me. The 12 hours runtime between charges alone is double that of some pretty high end competitors, and that's what sold me the most on these.I've never actually had earbuds with ANC before, so it's worth mentioning that unlike headphones you need to take some extra steps to get the most out of the noise cancellation with these.First is using the right size silicone tips for your ears to get the best passive noise blocking to begin with (and also to keep the earbuds from falling out).Next is tuning the custom HearID in the App to your hearing sensitivity.Last you need to pick the right Mode of noise Cancellation for the noises you're trying to block out. In my case my neighbor above me runs a 3D printer night and day above my office and the outdoor Mode completely blocks that sound out for me while I'm working.I've seen a lot of reviews stating the the noise cancellation isn't as strong as people were expecting, and I think it's a safe bet they just used the earbuds out of the box with the adaptive ANC and then concluded that the ANC isn't that good. If you follow the steps above, I can assure you the ANC is really good. Not Sony $500 ANC headphones good, but really good for the price point. As for the audio quality, they're comparable to good quality headphones in the 100-$150 price range. You need to crank the bass up a little bit to get the same punch you get from headphones, but these are great for music and voice. Great clarity and separation of frequencies.

Review: First, the eartips are not sufficient. I used the biggest size and still won't seal. Other brands big size is making a good seal. And maybe mine is defective? On conversation videos i hear a chirping sound like the speakers are distorting the sound. Very bass heavy.Eartips are no good. You have to buy new and that's 10 or 20 euro more.

Review: I had the p20i and I was impressed. I accidentally put them through the washer and dryer and then only one ear peice worked (yes one still worked ha). I loved them so much I upgraded this time to the P40i. Oh boy i didn't expect to be this impressed. I was concerned the noise cancelling would be dangerous at times like crossing roads or driving. Fear not - there's three settings that have it enabled, normal and 'transparent' this kinda amplifys the external ambience and plays it through the ears phones, how cool is that? Also there are tests to make sure your earbuds are tightly fitted (testing sound leak through the mic I assume) and also a set of various sized inner ear rubber thingys so make a nice snug Fit . A frequency tests of your ears so you can get a great EQ. Sounds like rain and white noise etc to blank out the world. So many features I didn't even know I needed now I can't live without. If this is how good the budget phones are I'm intrigued to take the dive and buy the pricey ones, maybe the sleeping ones. Oh they have a solution for all scenarios, this company have found their niche and are working it. I paid 40 quid in a sale and think that's a good price that will hopefully last me for a good while. One more thing...dropped one of your ear buds in the woods on your run? Don't panic, there's a feature to find it! Squeals like a pig (not literally) so you can hear it. Oh and you can have total control over what the various presses of the buds do, L and R separate control. Really easy to use and the app gives you control.
