Title: Even heating, slick nonstick
Review: I've bought this replace a 1st generation Misen 12" nonstick frying pan that was 5 or 6 years old, and its nonstick had begun to peel. This new pan has been redesigned, with a larger cooking surface and steeper walls, and a redesigned handle.I've been using this pan for about 6 months, and it's held up great so far. Still releases food like the day it arrived. I use medium heat and avoid sprays, but my wife uses it with med-high heat and cooking spray. So far so good.This is the go-to pan for nearly everything in my house - chicken, bacon, pasta, eggs, stir-frys, fried rice, pork chops, salmon, etc. It's extremely easy to clean, even on the outside. It has remained perfectly flat through countless uses.The only thing negative I have to say about it is the weight. I think it's heavier than the previous Misen 12" pan, and although the heavy weight might enhance the cooking properties, it is kinda heavy, especially for my wife and kids.

Title: Wonderful!
Review: Better than All-Clad. Heats evenly. Perfect for stir-fries, omelets, and more. Love the silicon handles. Very easy cleanup, if you cook with medium heat and wash in warm soapy water. Somewhat heavy, but better than many others. The 12 inch seems even larger because of its sloping sides. Sale price was amazing for this quality. Use silicon tools.

Title: Great pan for cooking eggs or other items that stick
Review: We purchased this to replace our OXO pans. It's a little more expensive but worth the extra price. This pan heats quickly and evenly and the not stick coating is great. I can fry eggs in it without any oil and they will release pretty well. I rate this is not versatile because I would not recommend trying to seer with a non stick pan. I personally don't heat this above medium low in order to preserve the non-stick coating. The pan is heavy but not to heavy. The extra weight is a result of the metal used and helps it to heat faster and better than other pans.I would recommend getting one of these for things like French toast, pancakes, omelets or eggs and then getting one of the Misen carbon steal pans for searing or other high heat applications

Title: Great Value for the Price
Review: This is a great little pan. I looked at a lot of online reviews of the best frying pans after being inundated on social media with two other brands some that claim to be the best "anything" you can buy and another that had fancy "hex" patterns. Both of those were rated quite low (by what most would consider one of the most reputable cookware reviewers out there). This pan was listed as the best "budget" pan and it definitely is great. I tend to be a bit scattered in the kitchen and frequently burn things. I've never had any trouble cleaning whatever I've burned out of it. I've not gotten a single scratch so far on the non-stick surface. It's a good size for just about anything I need to cook, but not so heavy that I have trouble lifting it with my arthritis. I particularly like the rubber cover on the handle.

Title: Simply The Best Non-Stick for Our Induction Range!
Review: We already use the Misen 10" and 12" fry pans, and we LOVE them! The non-stick surface has an ever-so-slightly rough texture, which releases food with ease. The handles NEVER get hot on our induction stove, so a handle cover is unnecessary. And, they do NOT warp when heated! In addition, they work on gas, electric and induction stoves.The heat spreads well across the entire cooking surface, which is larger than most 8" pans offer. That's because of Misen's extended flat cooking surface with somewhat more upright walls. I must admit, though, that they take a bit longer to preheat, compared to Misen's stainless steel fry pans, which we also own. But it's not so long as to be a real issue, IMHO.Misen claims these will last considerably longer than other non-stick pans - even ones from respected big-name brands. The non-stick surface is quite different from the others, so I tend to believe Misen's claim. We never set the burner higher than medium with non-stick pans. And that's in keeping with Misen's advice to lengthen the pan's useful life. BTW, medium heat is plenty to heat these pans for most any cooking you might do.Ignore the TV ads for other non-sticks telling you that you can even use metal utensils. No matter what non-stick you buy, even Misen, don't use anything but wooden, silicone or nylon utensils. And, don't put them in the dishwasher, which exposes them to harsh detergents. They clean up in the sink so easily, so why would you want to? Even the outside of the pans is non-stick for easy cleaning (except for the bottom, of course)!If you're buying a Misen pan as a gift for someone in your household, be aware they arrive in a box that clearly shows what's inside. But, I think Amazon may offer discreet packaging for gifts during checkout.

Title: Impressive!
Review: These pans are heavy and seem well made. The non-stick coating has a rough rather than having a slick feel. They work very well. The only think I can't comment on is durability as I just received then recently. If they don't hold up, I'll come back and report that. So far I'm very happy with them especially for the price.

Title: Love these pots and pans
Review: Needed to replace our old set of pots and pans and saw these CNN Underscored article. Got the set and we love them. First, the bottoms are heavy so you get very good heat distribution. Second, the non-stick is excellent, third, the lips have a silicone lip which lets steam escape and fry pan and saucier pan use the same lid. Have had them for 6 months so far and am extremely pleased with the performance.

Review: Over the years I have purchased from Misen several kitchen items; 2 knives, a stainless steel frying pan, plus 8" and 2x 12" nonstick pans. All great items. I paid $100.40 CND here on Amazon for the 12" pan in the summer of 2022, I can't understand why it is priced so high because while I write this I can get all 3 from the MIsen website for $116 USD — Here all 3 pans are well over $486 CND. I suspect a middle man is being way too generous unto themselves.
