Title: Waste of money, shame on the record company
Review: I can not even explain in words how much the sound of this vinyl sounds simply the lowest quality, and if it was in my ability I would fire the person who did the mix the factory that made the master of this record and the record company that thinks only of money and probably did not interest her anything beyond To this, Arita flips over in the grave when she hears how awful it sounds, dull, unclear sound the ears suffer, sounds like a 100 year old record all the instruments in the mix sound very bad the voices of the singers are terrible, the record sounds like the worst quality mp3 file, open youtube and play The songs from there you will get better quality from this horrible thing, everyone who is responsible for this disgrace should be thrown out of the music industry

Title: Aretha's music suffers from poor production of this compilation
Review: The sound fidelity of this elusive Walmart Marbled Turquoise version of this release is pretty poor. Sounds muffled and over-compressed. If you like a crisp, clear, bright sound, skip this. I prefer my compressed mp3s to this listening experience. Such a shame.

Title: Could Have Been Better. Should Have Been Better!
Review: FYI: The sound improves if youâre able to tweak your amplifier or use an equalizer. In addition to having three way speakers (Tweeter/ Midrange/ Woofer helps. Full range speakers donât cut it.I wouldnât consider this project as an exclusive because Walmart, Target and Amazon sell this vinyl album.Upon slicing through the shrink wrap, I was disappointed to see that this wasnât a gatefold design. Instead pictures, list of songs including the credits were applied to the actual record sleeves. The Cheaper way of doing things.The records themselves were flat, but far from being 180 grams. I did not detect any surface noises. However, I did notice that after the very first song on Disc 1/ Side A, It appeared as if someone deceased the treble, giving a cloudy sound during the mixing process. I also heard a addition of Strings on the remix in the song âI Knew You Were Waitingâ.Due to this inferior mix, this would explain the reason for the digital download that is included.The songs on this album are radio edits.For the quality presented and the retail price, âit isnât worth itâ.
