Title: EXCELLENT!!!
Review: So Happy to find this on CD. My vinyl from 70's had gotten so bad that I was afraid it would destroy my needle. EXCELLENT music by Arlo and accompanying musicians (especially Ry Cooder). Highly(pun?) Recommended. Long time favorite.

Title: Wonderful Memories
Review: When I was a teenager this record was one of my absolute favorites. I was a motorcycle fanatic so I took a chance on this record. He was riding a cool Triumph. More importantly I loved the music with it's clever and fun songs! I went on to buy all of Arlo's records and went to the movies to see Alice's Restaurant This record takes me back to a wonderful time and would make great memories for whoever gives it a listen!

Title: A Look Back to the Woodstock Era
Review: This is not a particularly good album, but for listeners who enjoy "folk rock," Arlo Guthrie, and the spirit of Woodstock, RUNNING DOWN THE ROAD might be an enjoyable album. Among its highlights is the original version of "Coming into Los Angeles" which he performed to such delight at Woodstock. He is beginning to work in the direction of the country-influenced style which made his albums HOBO'S LULLABY and LAST OF THE BROOKLYN COWBOYS so enjoyable, but listener beware, this album is by no means as completely conceived as those two fine efforts.
