Title: Quality Book
Review: Very heavy duty/ great quality book. Pretty large though so keep that in mind. It does not fit in my bookcase LOL but itâs such a quality book that I am giving it 5/5 stars.I would say itâs great for the living room table.

Title: Nice outline, excellent pictures.
Review: This book gives every city in the same outline as strengths, weaknesses, a perfect day and many other titles. It takes cities from all over the world so there can be some places you have never heard of. The pictures on this book are stunning, it is worth the money just for these pictures. So if you are a traveller, don't miss this book.

Title: The best!!!
Review: I love Lonely Planet books that cover the world. Please add even more photos and cut off politics (unless its a security warning for a certain region, for instance), and you will be even better. I can't wait to see the next edition. I hope you will publish one every year or two, and dramatically increase the number of Cities. Some I did not see in the book included Philadelphia and Eilat. However, I learned a lot about places I knew as well as totally new places.

Title: The book has some very nice photos and info
Review: The book has some very nice photos and info, but there is one main weaknesses. This is supposed to be dedicated to cities, but it misses many popular ones (Boston, Portland, Auckland, NZ) and instead has towns of just a few thousands. Some towns are noted for the wildlife that is not actually in the town but far outside. If this is cities book, stick to cities and get all of the good ones! Also, it would be nice if there were a map showing where each place is on the page (rather that at the beginning of the book). Some of the "strengths" and "weaknesses" for each city are a bit trivial. Or, they discuss about living in the city rather than travelling.

Review: Der erste Eindruck: GroÃformatig, hervorragend ausgestattet, hochwertig, reichlich bebildert, feinster Druck.

Review: I am an avid traveller and I found that the second edition is quite different from the first one. It's a much larger book (4x the size) - which doesn't quite make it very portable. On the other hand, they have included a section "Best time to visit" which is very very helpful. I've also noticed that they have made the "Weakness" section more politically correct and have done away with the Ranking system. The following cities were featured in the first edition and have been removed from the second edition: Abuja, Agadez, Almaty, Antananarivo, Apia, Ashgabat, Aswan, Auckland, Bamako, Bath, Beira, Bled, Bratislava, Bridgetown, Caracas, Carcassonne, Cuzco, Essaouira, Innsbruck, Jeddah, Kabul, Khartoum, Marseille, Minsk, Mombasa, Perth, Peuerto Vallarta, San'a, Suva and Zagreb.
