Title: Misleading
Review: Far more advanced than "easy" pieces in this collection.

Title: Good overall survey of various works and composers
Review: I have to echo a few other people's statements concerning this compilation. Great selection. I like the Easy/Med/Hard classification. However, I am a little disappointed that certain pieces only have select movements or excerpts. Nonetheless, if you want a lot of music at a great price this book is an excellent choice.

Review: Great selection of piano scores for both original piano pieces and transcription from orchestral works (concertos, symphonies etc). For the piano pieces, those are the original scores and not dumbed down versions.Worth noting however some of the pieces are only excerpts. E.g. Lisztâs Hungarian Rhapsody only includes the first section and not the second (not that I plan to attempt it...) and the same goes for most piano sonatas and orchestral work where typically only one movement is included. The scores spacing I felt is a little too spread out for my taste (I prefer those thatâs tighter so that I donât need to turn the pages as often) but others may like it.Plastic bound which makes it awesome for page turning. All in all, a good score.

Review: This book is terrific, every single piece is well-known and I'm going to have to live to 100 to learn to play them all! Currently playing Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata and Pathetique, & the utterly gorgeous Dolly Suite (Faure). With nearly 300 pieces you really can't go wrong, and they even vary in level of difficulty, with many at intermediate level, which would suit most. In fact the most challenging thing about this book is deciding which one to choose to play first!

Review: The selection of pieces is good, with a wide range of difficulties. Editing seems good; I like the composer notes, although some discussion of the pieces as well would have been nice, especially where it's just an excerpt from a transcription of an orchestral work. The printing is crisp. My reason for only 3 stars is that there is so little music on each page that you are continually turning pages. The physical size is less than A4, and there is too much white space, hence often only 2 bars per line and 4 lines per page... compare in the attached photo my Urtext edition of the Moonlight Sonata (left) with this edition (right). The former fits it all into 3 pages with 1 page turn, while this one spans 7 pages with 3 page turns! It's a similar story with every piece.Because of this, unfortunately I think you'd be better off with pretty much any other edition, or just printing the piece you're interested in out from IMSLP.

Review: Great selection of classical piano pieces you'll recognise and they've been classified into three groupings; easy, intermediate and advanced. I'm at grade 5/6 level and there are some here that are really testing me, some that are nice and easy. And in a spiral bound format where the music stays on the stand all by itself. Awesome.
