Title: Worth Every Dime
Review: I used this on my trip to Colorado with was last week. I brought this to every hike. It was accurate to every location, it was a guide to every hike. This book also gave you information on who to call if you get lost on a hike, fees, what gear you may need, and hazards, if any. This was the greatest buy I made for my vacation. It was as if I carried a tour guide on my vacation. I definitely recommend buying this if you are not familiar with the area of Colorado. On the back pages are also lists of restaurants it recommends and bed and breakfasts.

Review: This is our go to book for hiking in Colorado Springs! Stewart’s books are by far the best, most comprehensive guides to the hikes that are hidden treasures. If you carry ONE book in your pack, make sure that it’s this one!I appreciate Stewart’s attention to detail. Other books have often left me confused and lost. This book has all the information you need to know, such as difficulty, hike length, trail head information, and a detailed written description of each hike, often accompanied by a map.I find the written description of the hikes are the most helpful. It often seems easy until you get onto the trail and everything starts looking the same. Stewart’s experience and knowledge of the area really shines through if you find yourself in such a situation.He is truly a Colorado Springs legend, and it’s an honor that he decided to share his knowledge of the area with the rest of us. Do yourself a favor and buy his book. You can’t put a price on the memories and adventures he’s sure to take you on.I’m a local, and his books ALWAYS leave me saying, “how didn’t we know this was here?!”
