Review: Dolly Parton is such a very beautiful, talented and beautiful actress and is also such a terrific and absolutely beautifully talented singer!I've waited too long to finally find the time to purchase just one of her amazing CDs! And happened to finally decided to purchase just this one of her greatest hits CDs. Title: Great Singer, Great CD
Review: Dolly Parton is one talented singer/songwriter. She just has a way with a song that no one else has. I've been a big fan of hers since I was a kid in the seventies. She can sing pop songs just as well as she sings country songs. She writes the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. She's so amazing that she made a hit out of one of her own songs twice by singing it two different ways ("I Will Always Love You"). A Very Best of Dolly Parton CD would take at least 3 CD's, but unfortunately, this is only one CD, which means it doesn't include all of her very best. Yet it does include "Coat of Many Colors", "Old Flames Can't Hold a Candle to You", "9 to 5", "I Will Always Love You", "Islands in the Stream", "Here You Come Again" and "Love Is Like a Butterfly". It's well worth the price and I do have other Greatest Hits sets that feature some of her other best songs like "Down from Dover", "Two Doors Down" and "Think About Love". You do get a lot for your money here, so I'm definitely satisfied.

Title: Great CD
Review: During the holiday season I saw a Dolly Parton special. Purchased the cd (you have to listen to Mary did you know).Shows a gospel side I never heard and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was then interested in her cd's and based on reviews I purchased this one. There are quite a few songs I am familiar with and some I never heard. Really not a country fan but this is a great cd. I would recommend it.

Review: My mother resides in a care home and each time we spoke she seemed to be slipping away - wanting to pass to go with with Dad - Since us kids set her up with her music - has returned to her happy self - she keeps telling me how "her" music has given her back her life - she will be 90 this May - noticed a big change in her since she has been able to listen to the music my father and her favored and we grew up on - my mothers happiness is priceless - thank you Dolly
