It’s simple: Noah Peterson and I are enemies. Our fellow teachers know it, our friends know it—even the Starbucks drive-through lady knows it since every Monday she scrawls the name A. Hole for meon Noah’s cappuccino when I pick up the weekly group order.

The shrill whine of the school bell announces the start of each day’s no-holds-barred grudge match. Since neither of us is looking to get fired or thrown in prison, we war with our words and our wits. We prefer banter that bites. All day, I’m on edge, looking around every corner, expecting him to do his worst. Just when I think I can’t take the sight of his (regretfully) handsome face for one more minute, the school day is done.

Summer usually offers the sweetest relief—a two-month Noah detox—but not this year.

“We need two volunteers to chaperone a group of eighth graders in Rome” becomes a game of chicken neither one of us is willing to lose. We both want that bonus check.

“Back out,” I tell him.
“Scared?” he taunts.

No one thinks it’s a good idea for us to go to Rome together, least of all me. Taking this battle abroad will only lead to mayhem and misery.

DING. Ladies and gentlemen of flight UA447 with service to Rome, fasten your seatbelts.
We’re bound to have a bumpy ride.

Title: Adorable
Review: I absolutely loved every minute of this book. It would have been perfect if it was in dual POV. A R.S. Grey book can always get me out of a book slump. I enjoyed it so much I didn't want it to end. Always love a book with good banter.

Title: Super cute!
Review: I love R.S. Grey and this was another great read! They’re always fun and witty and sweet and low angst, which I just love! Audrey and Noah were adorable. I loved their ‘enemies’ banter and I love when they came together. This would have been 5 stars for me except there just came a point that I had enough of Audrey. I was with her almost the entire time, but then it was kind of like oh enough. But she redeemed herself and all was perfect in the end. Looking forward to what’s next!

Title: so good
Review: Just want to quickly say some pros for this book:It was unexpectedly funny to me. Although it was written in just the FMC voice it had me laughing out loud.It is a quick read that has a easily followed along plot and that usual drama moment didn’t happen for me. I loved that!I do tend to read R.S Grey books no matter what it’s about but I don’t always like them. This one I really liked. If i had to say a con, it would be that after I finished the book I realized I didn’t know much about the H. I also skipped a lot of the details about Rome, because I wasn’t in the right frame for it, but I started the book at 5am, which might explain it.It was pretty quick considering and someone could make the argument that their love is pretty shallow, like their hate. But she gave us 2 epilogues so we know they lasted even a little while. And not exactly fade to black but there’s no real heat to this book. All in all I would recommend this book for sure.

Title: honestly so cute
Review: The banter between the two main characters is delightful. I honestly kept chuckling. This was a really cute book and I loved the characters. I especially swooned at the ending. Roman Holiday is one of my favorite movies too.

Title: Entertaining, but nothing remarkable.
Review: I didn't really like how unreasonable Audrey could be. Things felt a little anti-climatic and the pacing of this book felt inconsistent.Overall though, the writing wasn't bad and the book as a whole was entertaining.

Title: Enemies to lovers in Italy!
Review: Audrey Cohen is a teacher at Lindale Middle School. Noah Peterson is her coworker, classroom neighbor, and mortal enemy. The last thing they want to do is escort a group of middle schoolers to Rome. But here we are. This book is SO fun. Even though I don’t teach anymore, I still love anything school/teacher related. Plus, I traveled with student groups when I was in high school and now I’m wondering what my leaders were like without us kids around. Obviously, this book was one I couldn’t pass up. My one complaint: it’s a little slow in the romance department but that didn’t make me like it any less.Read if you like:🇮🇹 Italy👩🏻‍🏫 Work(ish)place romance🤬 Enemies to Lovers✈️ Traveling🛏 One Bed🔥Low Steam

Title: Fell in love with this entertaining enemies-to-lovers with Rome as the backdrop
Review: RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5STEAM: 🔥🔥This is a classic R.S. Grey tale of enemies-to-lovers in close proximity.Noah and Audrey have locked horns for as long as the folks in the middle school they work at could remember. When the school needed volunteers for a summer trip to Italy and dangled a $2,500 bonus as an incentive, these two jumped at the opportunity. After unsuccessful attempts to make the other drop out, they are soon en route to a three-week stay in Rome. This book is a single POV from Audrey's perspective, and while she might come off as too much, I feel absolutely seen by this character. R.S. Grey does a fantastic job of capturing an anxious mind. The digging and dwelling into the smallest, unimportant things. The overthinking. The wrong, mostly negative assumptions. For an anxious mind myself, I could relate so hard to Audrey. The loneliness and obstacles to making friends were captured perfectly.Having Audrey's perspective of Noah initially paints him in an unfavorable light, but we go on a journey with her in discovering that there might be more Noah than their feud.Even when they are fighting, their chemistry is still sizzling. And it just grows as these enemies become closer. This book is more about connection, so the intimate moments tend to lean toward steamy than spicy. If you are looking for an entertaining enemies-to-lovers with Rome as the backdrop, this is a great read.

Title: Seriously one of the best books ever!
Review: Wow! This is a rare read. Very funny and witty. The Bed bath and beyond part had me rolling with laughter, and sharing that little snippet with others and I NEVER do that. The descriptions of Rome, I've never been but felt like I was just there. The story captivated me, the way the side characters (especially the students) were conveyed was so spot on and realistic. It was easy to stay lost in this story. It wasn't unrealistic and cheesy, it was done very well, and while I'm used to a more detailed erotic story, this story had just enough steam without over the top and deep pornographic details. I did find the ending a little rushed, but really did enjoy this story and I can hardly wait to read more from this author.

Review: This enemies to lovers story works great, though it lacks a bit of background for my tastes. It's like they're archnemesis just because, as if having a nemesis in your life was a requirement. They don't seem to remember, or care about, how it all started, so we won't ever really know why Audrey hates Noah. But that's ok, because these two have wit and banter, and they accompany a bunch of teenagers who have some to spare as well. I frankly laughed out loud many times reading it. Add to that a very pleasant (though toasty) tour of Rome's monuments and many salivation-inducing descriptions of italian food, and it ticks most boxes you'd want ticked.
