Title: Terrific and engaging book for 9 year old boy!
Review: I gave my 9 year old grandson this book for Christmas. It was so engaging that after he opened this gift, he sat entranced reading it for the next hour and stopped opening his other gifts! He wanted to try the activities in the book, laughed out loud reading some chapters, and seemed totally engaged all day! The hard back version is beautiful - a blue cover with large embossed gold letters - very attractive and definitely a keepsake! Great book for boys!!

Title: Pretty good but...
Review: Ok so the chapters were pretty good BUT... Most of the stories didn't give a conclusion about WHY you should do this, WHY you shouldn't do this, WHY doing this is bad. Another thing is I think it would be more fun for kids to read re were more pictures. ONE more thing... I gets kind of confusing reading directions for things like; tying a knot with one finger and folding the creases In a 90° angle... It also got kind of boring sometimes. ð© The chapters were good though! I really liked it!!

Title: Prized possession
Review: I purchased this book after stumbling across it here on amazon while ordering some christmas gifts for my 8 yr old son. So, after ordering a variety of typical boy toys I went ahead and ordered this book too, knowing it might be good for bedtime reading over the winter. I know it has only been 3 weeks since Christmas but I swear my son has read this book every single day since then and today proclaimed that it is the best gift he has EVER received in his life. (This coming from a kid who also got an Xbox Kinect, video games, expensive Lego sets, and a puppy for Christmas (not to mention a $200 cash gift from his Aunt). Nonetheless, he claims this book is the best present he has ever received- BY FAR! It's hard not to smile when I watch him with this book, he has an expression on his face that says I know something special, like he is carrying around a secret wealth of knowledge that he has just discovered and is confident he can master the skills he reads about. He carries this book around with him and reads and re-reads it every chance he gets, he takes it stores, restaurants, to school and even takes it to other kids houses. I'd call that a Prized Possession" and a big score for me... Mom.

Title: Awesome Book
Review: This Book has some excellent ideas. There are some things like how to make a raft and how to survive a volcano. I really enjoyed it and if, you want to lead and exciting life, by this.At first, when i bought this, i thought it wouldnt be that good cause the actual book is quite short, but then i realised the book was actually full of tips and actually very usefull.

Title: Back of the book doesn't perfectly match the book's contents.
Review: This is a review written by my 7-year-old son who received this book for his birthday. He noticed something wrong and wanted to make it known to any potential buyers of this book.On the back of the book it reads "How to make a water bomb? Find out of page 73." When you turn to page 73 it actually gives instructions on "How to make a tumbler".Needless to say, my son is very disappointed he can't make a water bomb but overall he thinks the book is "good".

Title: Better than a Video Game
Review: My initial birthday present choices for my 11 and 9 year old brothers were video games. They have almost every system, and pretty much all the games, but only play them once in a blue moon. But then I thought, "What happens when the power goes out?" or "Long car rides?"I chose these books, ( I also bought the orange and red ones) because they're timeless, portable, and never run out of battery.Much to my surprise, my brothers carry the books with them everywhere, and have even used their own allowances to buy book marks and book covers, so they won't ruin their new books.A+ products.

Review: I like this book and so do others... In fact I have yet to find anyone that doesn't like this book !its a great little book, it has something for everyone - even girls ;)It is totally bursting with good/fun/useless information... With 128 pages i think this book was an absolute bargain and a great find....This would make a great gift for males (due to the title) from ages around 5-95 😉 Im playing but you get my drift..If you want to find out things like how to; Eat in a posh restaurant Play Pooh-sticks Speak in code Do a wheelieThen you need this book ! ;)Its one of those books that if you leave it on the side, everyone has to pick it up to have a sneak peak at what it contains... which is a lot!I totally 100% recommend this book to you.
