One Fine May…
Furious that his son was featured in the notorious Rake Review column, Evander Beauclerk’s stickler father issues an ultimatum: give up his dissolute ways and marry a respectable woman by the end of the month, or the family fortune will go to his dimwitted cousin. Vander knows plenty of courtesans and opera dancers, but only one respectable woman, and that’s his best friend’s little sister, Lady Leticia Daughtrey. Desperate, he asks Letty to help him find a suitable bride.
He'll look and see…
For one heartbreaking moment, Letty thought Vander was asking her to marry him. The notion isn’t so far-fetched—after two men issued competing proposals in the middle of a crowded ballroom, the bachelors of London have developed a newfound appreciation for the girl they’d always taken for granted.
And he will know their love was meant to be…
Now, not only does Letty have to figure out which of her own suitors to marry, she’s tasked with finding a bride for the man she’s pined after for years. But Letty isn’t going down without a fight. If she’s going to help Vander, he can bloody well help her, too. And how can she choose which man should share her bed for the rest of her life if she’s never even had a proper kiss? Letty and Vander’s tutorials quickly go from illustratory to incendiary. Which is just how Letty wants it. Because…
One Fine May, he’s gonna want her for his girl!
One Fine May is a steamy Regency romance in the Rake Review series. If you enjoy watching some of London's most notorious scoundrels getting raked over the coals, then be sure to collect all twelve bachelors in The Rake Review!

Title: Lighthearted, best friendâs sister
Review: 4.5/5 One Fine Day is the fifth book in the multi-author Rake Review series. A classic best friendâs younger sister set up, it was predictable but fun. With trips around London to the British Museum and Vauxhall Gardens they both provided intriguing items of interest to the story that made it unique.I liked Vander, the dissolute rake that is initially reluctant to change his ways but slowly sees his faults and realizes he has a conscience. Letty was kind with a hint of mischievous that helped make her compatible with Vander. She remained constant in her feelings for Vander wanting him as he is, and also secure in herself by not wanting to change herself to attract his attention.I donât care how many times I read it, I always love an oblivious hero who hasnât realized his feelings for the heroine. Vander has this in spades and once the thought enters his mind, heâs convinced that he couldnât be possibly good enough for her either. While thereâs quite a bit of pining and little angst, it was an enjoyable and lighthearted read. This was a new to me author and Iâm looking forward to reading more of their work. There are two encounters that were delightfully steamy and tender.

Title: quick likable read
Review: The characters are likable. Itâs a quick easy happy read. There is a low level of tension. The hero is a morally gray character who appears well liked by all even though heâs a notorious rake. The heroine is exploring her options while trying to gain Vanders heart.

Title: The Quintessential Brotherâs Best Friend Story!!
Review: This book has all the feels of pining for someone from an early age yet knowing that youâll never have him or even gain his attention other than him remembering you as a 10 year old girl and never noticing that you grew up into a beautiful woman. So begins the lovely, beautiful, and enthralling story of Evander (Vander to his friends, son of a VERY rich father who writes insurance (merchant class) and Lady Leticia Daughtey (Letty to her friends and daughter of the Ton). This brotherâs best friend story has all the feels and pining/longing, angst (will he FINALLY notice her) and lastly love in a big way!! And if you are looking for heat, spiceâ¦this book has it in spades!! Courtney left nothing on the table and wrote a quintessential Brotherâs best friend story! I wonât spoil it by telling you the details (read the book blurb for that). Just know that I felt this story!!ð¥â¥ï¸ðâ¥ï¸ð¥Courtney McCaskill was a new-to-me author but nnooo more!! I am now a BIG fan and will definitely be reading more and more of Ms McCaskillâs stories!!Brava Courtney!! Brava!! â¥ï¸â¥ï¸ð¥ð¥

Title: Friends to Lovers.....
Review: This was a sweet love story about Vander and Letty. She has been in love with him since she was 10 years old, and she finally gets him to see her as a woman. They both realize they are made for one another and get their HEA.This was a funny love story with great characters. You had the relationship between Letty and Vander , the relationship between best friends Emily & Letty, and David & Vander, as well as both sets of parents. The dialogues were witty and entertaining throughout. There is also some innuendo and actual steamy scenes toward the end but not an overwhelming amount. I love when a book is about the couple and their love instead of focusing on villains and outside obstacles. I really enjoyed this book.

Title: Finally He Sees Her!
Review: Vander was an happy rake until his father gave him 1 month to find a bride or risk not inheriting the family insurance company. His mother suggests asking Lettie. She is his best friend's sister. Instead of proposing to her, he asked her to steer him to a suitable woman. Unfortunately, Lettie had been in love with him since she was 10 but men never see a friend's little sister as a grown woman.Lettie was disappointed but found him several women but none suited. All the while, his perfect bride was right in front of him all the time. When their Happily Ever After comes it is worth the wait.

Title: One Fine May
Review: Poor Vander, he just couldn't see what was right in front of him. Until he did. Then there was no stopping him. I cringed when he went to talk with Letty's parents. For a quiz, he sure was stupid! I loved the proposal though. Thoroughly enjoyed Vander and Letty.

Title: The end of a rake.
Review: He was labeled as the towns most scandalous rake, and deservedly so. How he ends up a happily married insurance man youâll have to read the book to find out.

Review: I really enjoyed this story. For me personally, the conversations with his father about their insurance company could have been a bit shorter, because to me, they were a bit boring and took away from the pace of the story. But this was only a small point of criticism. A nice, relaxing story.

Review: Oh it certainly is fine in may you can tell itâs getting warmer .i have received this as an Arc .The roguish rake with bad publicity (most of it being true) and the innocent sister of his best friend who has secretly been in love with him since she was ten. They both need to marry and soon but never to each other as after all his best friends sister who he has known since childhood so she is definitely off limits or ruin a life long friendship â¦â¦..A lovely spicy and romantic story with lovable characters .such an enjoyable read and a great addition to these monthly rogues .
