I thought we were best friends. But maybe I was wrong . . .

I get a text from Evan. Lily’s been attacked. Get here asap.

Lily is my old college roommate and my best friend. Her businessman husband Evan worships the ground she walks on.

Evan meets me at the hospital, a quiet sob wracking his body. He gives me a hug. For some reason it makes me uncomfortable.

Lily is in a coma, surrounded by beeping equipment, a tube emerging from her swollen, purple lips.

The police show me something. Photos they found scattered around Lily’s body. A woman showering, sleeping, undressing. Pictures of a woman with a man, her face blurred out.

It looks like me. But it can’t be.

Finalist for the Daphne du Maurier Award for Excellence in Mystery/Suspense.

AN EXHILARATING BLEND OF BREATHTAKING SUSPENSE AND NAIL-BITING TENSION WITH A SHOCKING FINAL TWIST.

Please note that this book was previously published as Truth Truth Lie.

Perfect for fans of Freida McFadden, Steena Holmes, Daniel Hurst, Valerie Keogh, Lucy Foley, Shari Lapena, T.M. Logan and Clare Mackintosh.

Review: I’ve read a couple of truly terrible books in the past few weeks, but this one is unquestionably the worst. A ridiculous story filled with disgusting characters. Please. PLEASE save your money!

Title: Edgy, Fast-Paced Suspense!
Review: Best friends don't keep secrets, right? Unless those secrets are too dark to reveal. Lily and Jane have been best friends for a long time, but when Lily's past comes back to haunt her, the secrets only increase. And it turns out that Jane has been keeping more than a few of her own. This was a page-turning psychological suspense in which I didn't know who to believe, and the twists and turns kept me guessing all along the way. On top of that, the prose is top-notch, pulling on all of your emotions to keep you invested to the very end (and beyond!).Loved this book and hoping for more from author Christina Delay!

Title: I'm ready for the next one!
Review: I love when I KNOW the narrator is unreliable, and I'm still fooled.I was intrigued from the first page. Delay has a talent for weaving a complex web where nothing is as it seems. Just when I thought I understood a character, something jumped out to make me reassess everything. The dynamic of the friendship, with hidden secrets and unexpected betrayals, is the best part. And that ending!Delay's writing is engaging and evocative, with perfect phrases that stir emotions while keeping the reader immersed in the story.I'm ready for the next one.

Title:
Review: A well paced story with enough twists and turns to keep you interested and with everything coming together in a good ending. I liked the way the author didn't introduce any information that wasn't relevant to the story, so no unnecessary red herrings, which I find to be sloppy writing. I really enjoyed this book, especially having read some 'psychological thrillers' recently that are a total let-down. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is that I thought the final chapter (especially regarding Janey) was unnecessary and let things down a bit, but that's a personal opinion and not a criticism of the author. Disappointed I couldn't find any other of her books on Kindle, because would certainly read more of her work.
