Title: Sounds great! Really nice reissue.
Review: Really nice pressing, flat record which is not a given these days!Sounds really good, nice full rich and well mixed. Very happy with this LP and happy to have a new clean copy of this classic album. Jacket is also nice and comes with an additional printed paper jacket and a lyric sheet. Marked P. USA which should indicate a Pallas USA pressing (partnership with Furnace).Wished it had a poly lined sleeve but my copy arrived in good shape, just recommend re-sleeve.

Title: Great Sound 'Bout Time
Review: Great album by Jackson Browne. And now it sounds great too. This remaster is tops. The packaging is beautiful, well done. The music as it's been for the last 50 years is flawless. My favorite track continues to be the very heavy Song For Adam. From Silver Lake another remastered masterpiece. It blows away the 1990 release in terms of sound and packaging. I'm looking forward to the next remastered release. That period in music from 1966-1974 will never be matched.

Title: Good
Review: Non-warped (for a change for new vinyl) quiet pressing; not stunning sonically but decent. Nice textured cover, lyric sheet etc. Good tribute to a great debut.

Review: With new vinyl having been in the recent past a bit of a lottery, what a pleasure to receive this immaculate album, newly remastered through Jackson Browne's Inside Recordings and reissued 50 years after its initial release (gulp!). Jackson Browne's self-titled debut album, "Jackson Browne", commonly referred to as 'Saturate Before Using'. The record is 180 gram beautifully clean vinyl contained in a white poly lined sleeve, in its original packaging with the texture of the original (burlap water bag) along with the inner water picture sleeve (inner sleeve number two!) and a lyric sheet. The external, nowadays obligatory, barcode is on the shrink wrap rather than the album cover and can be happily disposed of. I think all of this is what is called attention to detail and this album deserves it. If you're reading this you're already thinking of buying - Good taste! I can never decide which track is my favourite - great debut, great album and the CD version is available too. Recommended.

Review: This was a big hit with all the teen hippie chicks in high school and beyond. They were all drooling over Jackson. This would be a part of the regular rotation of "folkies" played @ parties back in the seventies. This latest version (released 22/09/2023) is ok sound wise. Not bad price wise (paid $23) for a brand new copy by pre-ordering last month. If you don't have a copy this one is worthy....Chef G...

Review: If this is the first time you've bought this album on CD, you'll be getting your money's worth. But it's the third CD version I've bought. The first mastering - I dunno, late 80's or early 90's, (Asylum 253022 SD-5051-2) - was an insult. Sound like mud throughout, and the overall carelessness summed up by the first track starting some way into it's first note. (Though it wasn't the worst of the early CD's: Late for the Sky and The Pretender sounded to have been mastered on a Dictaphone). Things then improved with the second mastering (Asylum 7559-60622-2) - quite a lot actually. So, although this new one is just slightly more refined, there's really not a lot in it. OK, the packaging is truer to the original LP sleeve, but there's no booklet and there's no mount for the disc. Only departure from today's standard scratchy card housing is you get an inner paper sleeve. But it is, of course, fabulous music. And Jackson Browne just kept getting better after this. Shame some people have never heard of him.
