Title: WHAT A PERFECT COMPILATION
Review: One of the problems of CDs devoted to a particular artist is that with certain exceptions (Bix and Billie spring to mind) over an hour of music can be too much of a good thing. Compilations can solve the problem, provided that the person concerned knows what he's doing. This selection is to be commended on two counts; first the artists, and secondly the choice of material. From 1927 to 1943, there's not a dull track, and Peter Vacher's liner note provides background information to the two dozen tracks.

:)Gute Qualität, super Musik - I like.
