Title: Great live recording by a brilliant singer-songwriter!
Review: I love the intimacy of this recording, which features, for the most part, just John Prine and his acoustic guitar. There are two lovely duets that I treasure: "Souvenirs" with the wonderful Steve Goodman and "Angel From Montgomery" with the awesome Bonnie Raitt. I've heard Bonnie sing this on various concert tapes and videos, and every time I think "This is her best version!" Since I just played "John Prine Live" before writing this review, I think her beautiful duet with Prine is the best...but forgive me if I identify another "best version" in another review! This is a terrific CD that makes me miss John Prine deeply. At least we have a lot of albums to enjoy and play over and over.

Title: The Best Official Live
Review: John Prine CD available, in my humble opinion. This was my first Live album from John and there are some newer releases available, but this is my first and the Best. Broadcast Archive, Live on Tour, In Person & On Stage are all great, as well. Can never have enough of this musical songwriting genius. I guess I wish you All the Best! Merry Christmas in Heaven John.

Title: The greatest Americana song writer
Review: The only regret I have is that I didnât start listening to John Prine years ago. He is the master. Great stories about life. This album has some of his best songs. You might not get it if youâre under 30. If youâre over fifty and donât get it, you wonât get it. I love this album.

Title: Sounds ...off
Review: The center hole did not fit my record player. It sounds like it was recorded at 50hz and played back at 60hz, the pitch is slightly high, but just for these two records.

Title: If youâre a John Prine fan, a must have.
Review: This is a cd youâll listen to again and again, never gets tiresome. Live music is always best and no one delivers better than the late great John Prine.

Title: A Must have for Prine fans!
Review: The absolute MUST HAVE for any Prine fan (old or new!).I'd go as far as saying that this should be a staple for anyone who is interested in getting into Prine. I re-discovered him at Eaux Claires w/ Bon Iver this summer and remembered I grew up with one of his records. But when I was looking for more Prine, I wanted something that truly captured the live show - THIS. IS. IT.Most of the show was recorded at one show but there's a couple tracks with his full band including a duet with Bonnie Rait. You can't go wrong with this CD. Seriously, folks. This is some prime Prine!

Review: John Prine è scomparso recentemente a causa del Covid-19. Un cantautore poco noto in Italia, ma molto apprezzato negli Stati Uniti. Da scoprire.

Review: Prine, of course, is great. This was pretty obviously created from another CD - not sold by the distributor.

Review: As fan of country/folk music I am not sure how I have taken so long to get beyond "knowing the name" to actually hearing the music of John Prine. This is a fantastic introduction. There is not a bad track on the album, including the amazing "Speed Of The Sound Of Loneliness", which was written by John Prine. I first heard that track sung by Nanci Griffith on the BBC drama series Case Histories (Another amazing artist - The Best Of Nanci Griffith is highly recommended).Do not be put off when first listening to the album, John Prine sound a bit like Bob Dylan. Or a rather poor Bob Dylan impersonator, but the feeling quickly passes and he come into his own. Although liking Bob Dylan probably does help..................

Review: The disc showed up and nowadays, that rates a 5 out of 5. Time has little or no meaning at this point.
