Title: Packaging
Review: CD sleeve was received damaged, but fortunately the cd itself was intact. Great music to add to my R&B collection. Contains lots of oldies but goodies music, especially those featuring the maestro, Ben E. King.

Title: A Definitive Drifters Collection
Review: One must not be without this Drifters compilation. Nothing but the best material this singing has to offer. Amongst the 16 songs featured here are "There Goes My Baby"; "This Magic Moment"; "Save The Last Dance For Me"; "Sweets For My Sweet"; "Up On The Roof"; "On Broadway" and "Under The Boardwalk". According to this collection the original single masters were used for those who care about the sound. Clyde McPhatter and Ben E. King would each get their start in the Drifters before launching solo careers. For those who may not know, record producer Phil Spector would play the guitar break for the song "On Broadway". Other songs featured here are "(If You Cry)True Love, True Love"; "Dance With Me"; "I Count The Tears"; "Some Kind Of Wonderful"[Not to be associated with Grand Funk Railroad];"Please Stay"; "When My Little Girl Is Smiling"; "I'll Take You Home"; "I've Got Sand In My Shoes" and "Saturday Night At The Movies".Get this today and you won't be disappointed. Upon hearing this perhaps you, too, will be falling in love under the boardwalk[Boardwalk].

Title: MUSIC OF THE 50'S & 60'S, TAKE A BOW!
Review: The Drifters were during the fifties and continued through the sixties. I was in Germany growing up first on German economy until my Dad was then assigned military quarters on the Army base in Worms. We taught the German teens how to dance . . . We listened to the Drifters, the Rondells, Neil Sadaka, Doo-Woo music. Music on 45's records were only 25 cents each; mu Dad would give me $1.00 on the first of each month to buy the latest songs. Today, I listen to Sirius radio channels, mostly on station 5 for 50's, 6 for 60's, and so on. My friends who are my age and older sing along with every song we knew back then when we are enroute to rock 'n' roll concerts. We left Germany when I was16. I have music from many artists and different genres, but the music as I grew up in the sixties and graduated in '67 still keeps me dancing and singing my heart out. Are there any of you out in music heaven, still reminiscing of those best young days? I encourage everyone out in Amazon Land to live a life of joy, memories, and keep listening to clean, romantic, and heartfelt music.

Title: ONE OF THE GREATEST GROUPS EVER
Review: This group has to go down as one of the greatest vocal groups in the history of the music business, as well as being one of Rolling Stone's top 100 artists of all time. They had 4 of the greatest lead singers in the business,Johnny Moore,Rudy Lewis,Clyde McPhatter, and the incomparable Ben E. King.Their string of hits from the late 50's to the mid 60's is even more remarkable when you find out the facts about unscrupulous management, which led to a virtual revolving door of singers for most of their career in the States.Even with the obstacles the group had to overcome, this collection speaks very loudly as to why they were inducted into the R & R Hall of Fame.TALENT ALWAYS WINS OUT.

Review: Although many of the Drifters songs are available on the Atlantic boxed sets, there was one song that was not - Saturday Night at the Movies. This is a great CD and the quality is up to the usual Rhino standars
