They may be faking their relationship, but they can’t fake the sparks that fly when they’re together.

I never thought I’d end up on a cruise ship headed to the Caribbean, but that’s exactly where I find myself after running away from my cheating ex. As soon as the ship sets sail, I run into Noah who got dumped on his wedding day. His dad got tired of him moping around and took him on a forced vacation. Good for me, because misery loves company, right?

Well, maybe not misery. Having Noah around completely brightens my vacation. He even pretends to be my boyfriend to dodge unwanted advances from a questionable guy. There’s only one tiny problem. I didn’t go on this cruise to see if there were other fish in the sea, and falling for a hot stranger definitely wasn’t on the itinerary either.

Instead of choosing which cocktail I’ll be sipping by the pool, I have a different decision to make. Risk getting my heart broken or abandon ship.

Title: A wonderful match between the story events and the page count!
Review: Many times people just want to fill up page after page of drivel to plump out a novella or short novel to look bigger. In this case, the author used the cruise timeline to force the story to progress quickly, the events and page count matching up and balancing. That is rare, and I applaud it-- and on top of that, the story was fitted to a wobbly premise so that we were always needing to take a second look. The way this was written is not the erotic roller coaster, but more an emotional ship ride, conveniently set on a ship to underscore the type of ride we were in for.The only real suggestion I can make is to consider that some readers are totally out of the loop on some less than common items, and in this case, a young lady from Japan read it (in American English) and had only one question: What is a Sin Gray? It is a different word in Japanese, and one picture was enough, and she was back on track, but she was followed by a North Dakota girl who wanted clarification on what a stingray was. Apparently they don't have many stingrays in North Dakota, but after finding out what a stingray was she felt a closer identification with Holly and did not want to be anywhere near a stingray.Noah, yeah. The stingray, no.It earned the five stars for matching length, treatment, and pacing to make everything fit and feel right..

Title: Lovely
Review: I enjoy cruising myself and that attracted me to this novel. This adventure at sea is really sweet. Two people who have been burned by people who said they loved them meet and pretend to be a couple.

Title: Swept Away by a Warm and Wonderful Romance!
Review: I must admit, I get very sea sick and I would never go on a cruise. That said, Sophie Leigh-Robbins made the cruise in this book magical in the most down-to-earth way. Two people meet and just plain like each other. All too familiar with the pitfalls and heartbreak of romance gone wrong, these two find themselves falling for each other. And we get to ride shot-gun and hang out with them as they do - how utterly delightful! What a fun book!!

Title: Fun Read!
Review: I read this in one sitting on KU. Really enjoyed the two main characters and watching them fall for each other. I’m a complete sucker for fake relationship tropes, and the author really did a lovely job with it. The story was light hearted, romantic and made me giggle. Off to see what else she’s written. 🙂

Review: Wow. I've just finished this and I feel like I've just come back from a cruise. We join the fab main character Holly as she's just boarding the ship - straight into the action! Perfect. Then we follow her journey, hanging out with her adorable new friends, doing her vlogging job and...well, I won't spoil it for you. Grab your copy and take a peek for yourself. Hopefully see you on board! Can't wait to read more from this author. xx

Review: The Best of You is the final book in the Oceanic Dreams series and I have to say that despite the books not necessarily being in my usual area of reading choice I have thoroughly enjoyed every single one of them and part of me is a little bit sorry they have come to an end.In the final instalment we meet Holly who is a vlogger who has booked the cruise as a way to get over the end of a relationship, and Noel who is also on the cruise with his father but is trying to get some alone time. When he sees Holly being hassled by another passenger, he offers to pretend to be her fake boyfriend to scare him off. As their friendship develops into something more, they have do decide if they want to just remain friends or take a chance on love once again. This book however is not just about Noel and Holly but also Noels father as he is also encouraged to take a chance on finding happiness once more. Despite Holly and Noel starting out with a fake relationship the author has given them enough chemistry to make their friendship believable. Despite this only being a short book you are quickly drawn into the story and their lives with quite a few hilarious moments along the way.As with all the others in the series this can be read as a stand alone but my honest opinion is buy the whole set as you get to read some fun stories and will be introduced to eight highly entertaining authors that have certainly given me several hours of enjoyable reading.
