Title: A guide to leaning into the Good Life
Review: What a powerful guide to living the life you want. I was profoundly impacted by Caroline’s work. The Best Self journaling idea is something I have already incorporated and several of their tools/concepts are really unique and innovative. Caroline’s simplified approach to planning and then creating your best life is refreshing. One of the best books I have read on how to create a life worth living! Highly recommend!

Title: Creating A Blissful Life
Review: "Creating Your Best Life" by Caroline Miller is a heartfelt book that is akin to having a portable mentor. This is because "Creating Your Best Life" contains some novel ideas on combining personal dreams with practicality. I have been fortunate in being able to live on my own since the age of 19. However, I admit that I have learned various lessons through a combination of trial and error, logic, and intuition. From my humble perspective, "Creating Your Life" includes information that I am thankful to be aware of now, but that I only wish I knew much sooner. The following is a microcosmic sampler of what is discussed from an expansive range of helpful data:Pages eight to twenty-seven: Michael Phelps and Lou Holtz are two men that are listed as case studies on how they achieve their goals. Miller and Frisch also share tips on building efficacy.Pages thirty-six to eighty-five: The mood-boosting effects of "Best Self" journaling are discussed. In a happy way, the "Best Self" exercise reminds me of the "Journal of the Future" exercise listed in "The Vision Board" by Joyce Schwarz. There is a feature story regarding what inspired the singer of the Plain White T's to sing "Hey There Delilah." "Goal scrapbooks", "Happiness Houses", and willpower boosters are only a few of the exciting concepts covered in this section.Pages two hundred and seven to two-hundred and fifty-four: Miller and Frisch share their advice on how to savor life. The suggestion on page 208 to discontinue making upward social comparisons resonated strongly with me. Techniques on personal reinvention on pages 213-220 are also exciting to me. Last, but not least, doing the "Three Blessings" exercise on page 254 boosted my mood."Creating Your Best Life" by Caroline Adams Miller and Dr. Michael Frisch is best for those who enjoy having a "portable mentor" and/or reading unique ideas on increasing personal quality of life.

Title: A terrific toolkit
Review: For those who look to identify, reprioritize, or implement lifetime goals, CREATING YOUR BEST LIFE is an amazing, helpful collection of tools. In fact, it's almost TOO comprehensive, in that it suggests so many lists to create and so many exercises to do that the first chapters become overwhelming. But better to have choices than to feel shortchanged.I was surprised, however, that there wasn't any attention paid to creating what I'll call a daily "TO DO" list. This is the book to go to if you want to determine goals. It's a little less helpful when it comes to balancing your choices with all of the likely other demands on your time. My wish for more attention to time management might be unfair, given the bounty that Miller and Frisch offer. But at least on my first read through, I was puzzled that this step was missing; it seemed like a logical place for the authors to go. The goal list created here seems to exist in a vacuum.Still, in the future, when I'm asked to recommend a "happiness" book, there's no question that this would be one of my top choices. You won't regret this purchase.

Title: THIS IS A PLAYBOOK FOR ACCOMPLISHING YOUR DREAMS. It's a guide to making whatever you desire happen.
Review: This is one of my favorite all-time books and I am only a third of the way through it. WARNING it is a simple book that's easy to read. But it's also a book that challenges you to make big changes in your life and think. It excites people who aren't avid readers as well as people who are. It's a game changer, if you actually take it seriously and do the exercises in the book. It's more of an activity book than a novel. It's based in the social sciences and proven techniques. I feel better and like I accomplish something every time that I complete a chapter. I think so highly of it that I am buying it and giving it to loved ones because I think that giving it to them is an act of love. If you aren't a planner it can help you become one and accomplish the things that are most important to YOU in your life. I highly recommend it.

Title: Compelling read to help you improve your life
Review: "Creating Your Best Life" offers a wealth of compelling arguments and concrete strategies for setting goals. I picked up a copy of the book after hearing Caroline Adams Miller speak about positive psychology at New York University. She brings her passion for a science based approach to improving the lives of others and makes the book fun and accessible to her readers. She is a font of knowledge, is up on all the latest research, and is passionate about all things goals and happiness. The book offers invaluable insights into topics such as willpower, risks, and regrets. It's a lively read, packed with information, statistics, and great stories. Don't miss this incredibly rich exploration which will help improve your life.

Title: Creating Your Best Life
Review: This is a great book to help guide a bit of introspection. I'm a new empty nester and finally have more time to focus on what I want. I have been reading one chapter each night and I have already put some thoughts into action regarding what I want to accomplish in life and what kind of a person I am. I am trying to build in more time in each day to do the things I love: creative things, things to show I care about others. Great book for starting the new year!

Title: It got me out of my rut....
Review: If you want to change your life and actually get off your rut and start doing SOMETHING then read this book! I am a reluctant reader, and am always researching everything before I make any purchase. I am so glad I got this one. Its relevant, inspirational, intelligent, and thought provoking. It really forced me to stop making excuses and actually devote my wasted time and resources to things that are meaningful. I transformed from a lethargic, sad and bored reluctant housewife to happy, passionate, and action oriented young woman! Not only do I have a bucket list, I am crossing them off and inspiring others on this new adventure called life.

Review: This book is an absolute must for everybody. And i mean everybody, because the ones who think that they do not need a book with such a title will perhaps be in need of it more than any other. The author has a very demonstrative style of writing and constantly asks you to make a definitive list, so You will need a notebook and a pen while reading this book.
