Title: Fast paced and enjoyable
Review: It was a quick read could be quite useful as a guide and easy to reference back to when needed. I'm sure some of the science will change and be challenged over time but for now, well done.

Title: Full of Wonderful Science-Backed Myth Busters
Review: I adore this book – it’s like Myth Busters for every question you’ve ever wondered, backed by facts and graphs. From answers to questions like, “What’s the Best Exercise to Burn Calories?” to “Why Has My Teenager Turned into a Human?” Dr. Stuart Farrimond addresses all of these topics in an easy-to-read way with some much-appreciated humor sprinkled in. I’ve mentioned the book to family and friends, and they all hinted that it would have made a great Christmas gift this year! I’ve been doing this thing where I now read one of the questions that start off each chapter and have my friends guess the answer before revealing the actual one. It’s amazing how much we thought we knew, but actually didn’t know – I guess that’s the way everything seems these days! The way to approach these ideas in my everyday life seems attainable and approachable, and I can’t wait to fill some of my New Year’s Resolutions with this book’s suggestions (like eating slow-cooked oatmeal for breakfast as a healthy alternative, or adding more HIIT training to my workouts, or even shopping more cost effectively). Definitely recommend this book, especially if, like me, you’re hoping to start 2021 off like 2020 never happened!

Title: Obvious scientific errors
Review: I only read the sample section so far, and that was enough to find serious, obvious scientific errors. Example: toothpaste - the fluoride in toothpaste does NOT soak through your gums to strengthen your teeth; it actually gets absorbed into your saliva and remineralizes areas of the tooth surface which have been damaged by the acid production of cavity-causing bacteria. (Yes, I'm a dentist.)

Title: Good book, but the layout makes it difficult to read
Review: This is not so much a book as a series of infographics. If you like to consume information that way, you may enjoy this book. The information is useful, and written in a clear and entertaining style.Unfortunately, the ebook is almost impossible to read on a phone. I had to continually rotate the image and zoom in on different parts of it in order to read the text. Also, the ebook is not set up for text-to-speech. If you rely on text-to-speech, there's an audiobook version. This would have been a five-star book for me based on the content, if it hadn't been so difficult to read. It's easier to read on a tablet, but a good deal of zooming is still required. The only comfortable way to read the ebook is on a computer. I spend enough of my time sitting at a computer—I prefer to read on a mobile device.I received an ARC from NetGalley, and this is my honest review. I also downloaded a sample of the published version of the ebook and had just as much difficulty as with the ARC.
