Title: " Rare Treasure "
Review: If I had't taken my vacation in Seattle,WA in '85,I would never have known about this album until now. I grabbed this at a record store there and couldn't wait to get home to hear it. It was worth the wait! Every song on the album is great in my opinion and I took giddy pride in the fact that I was the only one in town ( as far as I knew ) that owned it(to this day, I have never seen or heard it anywhere else). There is an excellent variety of song styles on this album and the arrangements are superb. My two favorite cuts are "You can't stop the rain" and the title track. They both have that melancholy "rainy day" feel to them that I love. Overall, I love this album for all the aforementioned reasons. It is to my pleasant surprise to see that it is available now on C.D.

Title: Loose Ends
Review: This album was'nt released in the U.S. It was deemed to be "unworthy". I purchased it while I was stationed in England when I was in the USAF. If you're a Loose Ends fan, buy it. It contains some records released on later Loose Ends albums.

Review: A lot of people are under the belief that this was Loose Ends First album....those that had the pleasure of taking a chance with "A little Spice" found it was a very accomplished debut, merging the talents of Peckams finest trio with the prodcution skills of the American Nick Martinelli...Now there may be some relevance to the sound that came through at the time from Terry Lewis and Jimmy Jam, legendary producers for the likes of the S.O.S. Band, Alexander O' Neal, Cherrelle, Chaka Khan, Janet Jackson and the Human League (yes, that last one was correct). This homage was created in the lead track "Hanging on a String". Note I said homage, not duplication. That track was the song of the summer in 1985 and made the Loose Ends the first British black group to have a number one single in the American R & B chart.Even today, the album sounds fresh and fresh and unique. Real musicians, real lyrics and real atmosphere. So to the R & B artists of today, take note. This is how it should be done!

Review: bonne réédition augmentée. les versions de «Hangin on a string» ne m'avaient pas plu à leur sortie. 20 ans après pas davantage. elles n'apportent rien par rapport à l'originale.

Review: I was looking 4 the original 12" "Hangin' On A String-Contemplating" but it's ok. I love Loose Ends & their music just the same. The cd came right on time. No worries, no fouls. Great job 2 the seller.
