Title: Love and Trust
Review: This second book in the A**hole series introduces you to Luke. You are drawn to the loyalty he has to his crew, manager, friend and his determination to win the NFA title. His trust in people has been shattered because of his past. Luke has suffered a tragic loss that threatens to derail his chance of winning the NFA title. Luke has not put a plan in place to win the title after the tragedy. He is still trying to continue the same training and course of action that was implemented, when his life took the devastating turn. He loses and knows he has to make a change to accomplish his goal, to win. Unbeknownst to him his life is about to forever change. Syd enters his domain like a whirlwind and turns his life upside down. There is an immediate attraction they both try to ignore. Luke issues a challenge to Syd that she wins and sets in motion their beginning. I like how both are portrayed. Luke is a strong, sexy alpha, with a little arrogance. Syd is self sufficient, successful, knows what she wants and skilled to handle herself in the ring. Syd is there to train Luke, but she also has a secret agenda. I like how the story builds Syd’s apprehension with not sharing something in her past that connects her and Luke. Sizzling heat, funny moments, pain, regret and more. The suspense is weaved into the flow of the storyline throughout the book. Once it is revealed, will the secret destroy the relationship that Luke and Syd has built or is their bond strong enough to weather the storm.... Review: Wow, what a good read!!! Luke and Syd have one of the most unconventional love stories I’ve read! I love Syd a lot, I like her unconventional careers as a person who owned her own paramedic company and as a mixed martial arts trainer. It took a LOT longer for Luke to grow on me because he really was an A-hole. They had incredible sexual chemistry. I think I wish that the author had shared a little bit more of their backstory, particularly Luke’s so I would have understood him better. I also wish we would have seen a little bit more of the characters from Book 1 in this story. Can’t wait to read the next book

Review: This was such a great read. I enjoyed Luke and Syd’s story. The attraction they both tried to fight, especially Luke. Trauma does a lot to us as children and if we don’t get the proper treatment, we carry it into our adulthood, then in turn we carry it into our relationships. Great story with the right amount of steam.

Title: A most read series.
Review: I have read a lot of series, to me this is one of the best. I really like each person has a different technique everyone not in the same business. Luke had me holding my breath a time or two, Syd just made me feel good. She’s a boss and she owned it, I really like when she handed Greyson his a$$. If anything I wish I could have seen Syd in another fight with someone. There loved just flowed out of the story it was that awesome. I know I’m re-reading all of this series over and over.

Review: I remembered Luke from Jacob’s Song because he is Jacob’s younger brother. They both had been through a lot. I love Syd who was time enough for Luke. Their interaction was so on point even though it took Luke a while to acknowledge it. I think it was awesome that Syd turned out to be Banks’ daughter. So glad Luke finally followed his heart. I read this out of sequence because I wanted to continue reading Ms. Patterson’s books. (She’s my favorite author at the moment.) i might have to read this whole series because now I’m curious about the crew. Enjoyed this book and hope there is more info in the other books in this series about Luke and Syd❣️👍🏾👍🏾

Title: Loved this book!!! Funny, touching and expressions of true friend relationships
Review: First of all, let me say thank you, thank you thank you to T. Patterson for making Luke the male lead in the wonderful book. If any of you have read Jacob's Ladder by her, you will recognize that Luke is Jacob's brother in the book. I wanted to know what happened to Luke and now I have my answer.If you have read Jacob's Ladder, you know it provides insight into why Luke is the way he is. If you haven't, Ms. Patterson does a great job in this book of describing the why. Syd is persistence walking in stilettoes. She is just what Luke needs. I love their mutual attraction to one another, even though they don't recognize where it's going at first. The lengths Syd goes to become Luke's trainer are hilarious and she is even more diligent in getting Luke to try some unorthodox methods of training. Luke's reactions to them are so funny that you will laugh out loud.The crew is also back from book one. Pit's fear (or better identified as his healthy respect for the cray crayness of his fiancé, Skittles) cannot be described. You just have to read it to see. Everyone needs to have a crew that will go through the nth degree for you. Luke does.But at the heart of the book is the healing of both Luke's and Syd's spirits from painful childhood experiences that is at the center of the book. There is a major secret that threatens there relationship. And I have to say the resolution was unexpected but perfect and touching. Ms. Patterson has been one of my favorite go to authors for a long time. And this book did not disappoint.I wholeheartedly recommend this book. It reminds you that people's actions do not always show who they are.Also, if you haven't read Jacob's Ladder, please do so. It will give you a deeper understanding of why Luke and his brother Jacob are still working on trust and reconciliation.I really really liked this book. I think everyone who reads it will too.

Review: I love the authors work and I was anticipating the release of this book. I loved how head strong both leads were and the moodiness of Luke. Having read previous works, it was a great surprise to see one of my chats brought into this story. It explained so much of Luke's demeanour. I wanted the book to be longer and with more anger but I can't complain, I got my Tiffany Patterson fix until the next release.
