Review: This is an excellent box set of Luther's songs. To highlight his career is a pretty daunting task everyone has their favourite tracks and it is impossible to include them all. It took a long time for Luther to breakthrough to a mainstream audience after spending years doing background vocals for David Bowie, Chic, Bette Midler, Chaka Khan and Roberta Flack amongst others as well as countless jingles. " Never too much" changed all that and his solo career finally blossomed until after a new record deal tragedy struck with a huge stroke brought his career to a halt. The box set includes countless photos and an excellent essay as well as some rarities. If you seek an overview of his career I suggest you invest die-hard fans who bought all his albums will be tempted to invest as well.
